Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (coach's decision) and RB Jadarian Price (upper leg) will not be playing in Saturday's preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price (upper body soreness) missed his third straight day of practice on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Huddle Up: Price remains one of the top rookie choices in the 2026 season. He projects as the RB1 for the Seahawks, given his draft capital, and can be an RB2 in fantasy lineups in 2026 with RB1 upside.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price is going to be hard to keep off of the field, according to head coach Mike Macdonald. Macdonald said Price "doesn't feel like a rookie" based on his attention to detail and coachability.
Huddle Up: Price's ADP is at 68 with an RB2 ranking, and that could elevate the deeper we get into the preseason. He'll have Zach Charbonnet to share the rock with upon his return, but the first half of the season could be peak value for Price.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price (legs) is dealing with general leg soreness but is expected to return in a few days, head coach Mike Macdonald said Saturday, Aug. 8.
Huddle Up: Price has drawn rave reviews during training camp, and there is a good chance that he begins the year as Seattle's lead back. Consider Price a solid investment as a RB3, and if he starts fast, he could end up in the RB2 mix.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Friday, Aug. 7, because of an undisclosed reason.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Price is dealing with an injury. He probably will be part of a committee at running back this season but should see a majority of the carries during games. He can be considered a No. 2 or flex option most weeks.

Seattle Seahawks RB George Holani is currently looking like one of the top two options at running back alongside rookie RB Jadarian Price, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson, who writes that RB Emanuel Wilson would be mixed in as a "powerful complement."
Huddle Up: Holani, who has 83 career rushing yards, working ahead of Wilson, who ran for 998 yards over the past two years, is a bit surprising, though it doesn't necessarily translate into much value with Price offering a high ceiling. Plus, the eventual return of Zach Charbonnet (knee) could throw things further into disarray. Still, it's a development worth monitoring as if Holani is set for a meaningful role he'd potentially be worth grabbing as an RB4/RB5 type.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price is reportedly making the most of the opportunity before him and has impressed in the early days of training camp, in the opinion of The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta on Monday, July 27.
Huddle Up: Price worked behind Jeremiyah Love at Notre Dame, but was so impressive that he snuck into the first round as the final pick. With Zach Charbonnet (knee) recovering from a major injury, Price has a runway to earn touches starting in Week 1. Consider Price an upside-laden RB3 for fantasy purposes, but he may be part of a committee even with Charbonnet on the mend to begin 2026.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price has been used a lot in the passing game in the first few days of training camp. They've put him on the first-team, second-team and third-team offenses in 11-on-11 drills.
Huddle Up: He's going to be a big cog in the offense with Zach Charbonnet recovering from a torn ACL in the playoffs last season. The fact they're working him this hard in the passing game shows what they envision him once Charbonnet returns, and that's still a major factor in the offense. He'll be a low-end RB2 in fantasy.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price is considered the favorite to serve as the starting tailback with RB Kenneth Walker III (Chiefs) moving on, and RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) still likely to miss the start of the season recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: While Price is expected to be atop the depth chart with Charbonnet on the shelf, it is expected to be a committee approach, with George Holani and Emanuel Wilson also factoring in. Price wasn't even a starter at Notre Dame, as that was Jeremiyah Love's job, so don't expect more than 10-15 total touches, giving the rookie a limited fantasy ceiling.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price is expected to be involved in both the running and passing game this season and will also be a candidate to be the kick returner, according to head coach Mike Macdonald.
Huddle Up: Price could open the season as the starting running back but will have to share playing time once Zach Charbonnet returns to the lineup. He can still be considered at least a No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues even if he does not receive most of the work in the running game.
