Indianapolis Colts RB D'Onta Foreman (biceps) will remain with the team while rehabbing torn biceps. He's expected to miss four months but the team intends to keep him for next year.
Huddle Up: In the event you had doubts before, he is no longer on any fantasy radar after being placed on IR.

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Williams (chest) was diagnosed with a broken rib Sunday, Aug 18. The injury isn't believed to be a long-term issue.
Huddle Up: Williams is near the bottom of a depth chart led by RB Marlon Mack and also featuring Nyheim Hines, Jordan Wilkins and D'Onta Foreman. The injury further hurts his chances of making the final roster.

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron caught both of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in a 21-18 preseason loss to the Cleveland Browns Saturday, Aug. 17.
Huddle Up: After finding the end zone 13 times last year, fantasy owners are used to Ebron making plays in the red zone. After the Colts added some weapons this offseason, Ebron could have a tough time matching his overall numbers from 2018. However, his role as a go-to target near the goal line should keep him in the TE1 mix.

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain caught seven of his nine targets for a game-high 80 yards in a 21-18 preseason loss to the Cleveland Browns Saturday, Aug. 18.
Huddle Up: Cain lost his rookie season to a knee injury, but he has started to generate some buzz once again. The offseason addition of Devin Funchess will make it tough for Cain to have value in redraft leagues, but he is an intriguing stash candidate in keeper formats.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (ankle) worked out on the field before the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 17, and appeared to be moving around well.
Huddle Up: Luck is still uncertain for Week 1, so fantasy players will need to continue to keep an eye on his status. He is a No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues when he is healthy, but players may want to draft a strong No. 2 quarterback in case Luck misses a few games.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (ankle) continues to be sidelined because an ankle issue, but the Colts have guarded optimism about Luck's availability for Week 1.
Huddle Up: Luck has missed most of training camp because of the injury and probably is considered questionable for Week 1 at this point. He is a risky option in fantasy leagues at this point because of the injury but is a No. 1 fantasy quarterback when healthy.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (ankle) is unlikely to play in the preseason due to an ankle issue, according to general manager Chris Ballard Tuesday, Aug. 13. Ballard said he's not ready to say the regular-season opener is in jeopardy due to the injury and Luck will continue rehabbing.
Huddle Up: This is not good news for a consensus top-five fantasy quarterback. The breaks should be pumped on drafting Luck for now, who is currently being selected in the fifth round on average in standard leagues. This situation will need to be monitored through the rest of the preseason to see if he's at least able to return to practice.

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (oblique) participated in practice Saturday, Aug. 10.
Huddle Up: Doyle has missed a lot of time because of injury, but it appears like he should be ready for Week 1. He may share playing time with Eric Ebron this season, which would make him a No. 2 fantasy tight end.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (calf) will not participate in the next three practices, according to head coach Frank Reich.
Huddle Up: Luck has been dealing with this calf injury for most of the offseason and training camp but there is several weeks before the start of the regular season. Fantasy players should continue to monitor the situation, but Luck should be a No. 1 quarterback if healthy.

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack will not play in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 8 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Mack will be rested to prevent an injury in a meaningless exhibition game. He should be drafted a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2 in all fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. He'll be the bellcow in Indy as long as he can stay healthy.

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain (knee) will play in the preseason opener Thursday, Aug. 8, according to head coach Frank Reich.
Huddle Up: Cain continues to make progress from last year's ACL tear. He can be left on the waiver wire in redraft leagues for now, but he is a great stash candidate in keeper formats. Cain could eventually become the starter across from T.Y. Hilton.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (calf) missed his seventh straight practice Tuesday, Aug. 6, due to a strained left calf and is fully expected to not play in Thursday's preseason opener - or maybe at all during the preseason - but head coach Frank Reich is keeping a level head. 'If I learned anything - and I learned a lot from Tony Dungy, working with him - he literally never flinched,'' Reich said. 'Even when our best players got hurt, you would look at him and you would think it was just ... he was never overly concerned. ... I just think that's important.'' Reich expects his starter to be ready for the regular-season opener.
Huddle Up: The injury is completely unrelated to the shoulder issue which caused Luck to miss the entirety of the 2017 campaign, eliminating any concern, there. Luck requires monitoring but his stock as a top-three fantasy quarterback doesn't seem to be in doubt at this time.

Free-agent RB D'Onta Foreman (Texans) was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, Aug. 5.
Huddle Up: It is an interesting - in that he'll stay inside the AFC South - yet predictable landing spot for Foreman after Spencer Ware landed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list late last week. Work ethic issues reportedly led to the end of Foreman's career in Houston, but he's more than talented enough to emerge as Marlon Mack's backup by the end of camp if his mind is right.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (calf) told NBC Sports' Peter King he has no doubts about being ready to play in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. 'I certainly believe I will (be ready). That's certainly the goal. At times I do worry about it. It can be frustrating. The arc of an injury, whether it's a big surgical one or something you're rehabbing through. But no, because I've improved. Maybe I'm not improving as fast as I want and missing things is no fun. It eats at you. But I do know at the end of the day if I'm getting the most out of myself, if I'm being the best I can that day, then that's what I need to do,' Luck said.
Huddle Up: It certainly sounds like he has some doubt, even if it is borne out of frustration. Either way, the Colts are doing the right thing by giving Luck some more time to get through his injury. Owners should probably delay their worry unless he's not ready for the dress rehearsal game in about three weeks. If and when he gets past this issue, he's a high-end QB1 in fantasy.

The Houston Texans waived RB D'Onta Foreman Sunday, Aug. 4.
Huddle Up: Foreman was waived because the Texans were disappointed with his work habits but he shouldn't have much difficulty latching on with another team. Damarea Crockett, Josh Ferguson, Karan Higdon, Buddy Howell and Taiwan Jones will battle for the No. 2 RB job in Houston behind Lamar Miller.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (calf) will miss the next three practices, according to head coach Frank Reich.
Huddle Up: Luck has missed around a week of practice because of his calf injury and will miss at least a few more days. He should be considered a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues, but fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if Luck's injury is more serious than initially believed.

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain (knee) admitted to being rusty during training camp, but he has had no issues with his surgically repaired knee.
Huddle Up: Cain was generating a lot of buzz last preseason prior to the injury, and he's a quality stash candidate in keeper formats. He has the upside to become the starter across from T.Y. Hilton.

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman is reportedly part of a 'wide-open' competition for the backup job behind Lamar Miller, according is made by head coach Bill O'Brien.
Huddle Up: This has the feel of coach-speak and could be O'Brien's way of motivating Foreman during early camp practices. If the third-year back is legitimately part of a competition, he's battling Josh Ferguson, Taiwan Jones, Buddy Howell, Karan Higdon and Damarea Crockett for the job. Assuming Foreman is looking as good as O'Brien made him sound this spring, he will win this "competition" going away and could easily force a split backfield with Miller during the season.

Updating previous reports, Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (calf) will miss a couple of training-camp practices as he deals with a nagging calf strain, but Luck said Tuesday, July 30, that surgery hasn't been discussed. 'The nature of it is a calf strain,' Luck said. 'I say lower leg because I feel pain in my ankle area. I've had images and X-rays and everything, and my Achilles is not at extra risk. There (are) no tears or swelling or anything that's indicated.'
Huddle Up: This is worrisome as it's lingered since late April, but unless it's still an issue a couple weeks into August, keep Luck ranked among the top three or four fantasy QBs available.

Indianapolis Colts RB Spencer Ware (undisclosed) was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday, July 24, and he'll miss two weeks with an undisclosed muscle injury.
Huddle Up: Ware is a handcuff to Marlon Mack and could be worth an RB5 slot in his own right.

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman's performance this year will be a 'season-long audition' to show he deserves to be the lead back in 2020, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Huddle Up: Lamar Miller enters 2019 as the starter, but he is also in a contract year. Foreman is a high-end handcuff in redraft leagues for now, but his upside in keeper formats is enormous. By next season, he could be the featured back in a potent offense.

Indianapolis Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox could play around 20 snaps per game in 2019, according to Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan.
Huddle Up: Alie-Cox is the Colts' third tight end behind Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle, but he managed two touchdowns while catching seven of 13 targets last season. He isn't worth a thought in redraft leagues, but he could have relevance in daily fantasy should either of the other two miss any time this year.

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (kidney) is reportedly happy with his progress from the kidney procedure he had late last season, but he is planning on being patient with how quickly he returns to the field. 'I really am trying to take it one day at a time, not rushing anything. But I'm happy with where I'm at and happy with the progress I've made. It's definitely going in the right direction, and when it's time to get back out there, I'll be excited to be back out there. I promise you that,' Doyle said.
Huddle Up: Doyle is still in the process of adding the 25 pounds he lost as a result of the kidney surgery and has noted he wants to do it "the right way." When he returns, he figures to be a mid-range TE2 for fantasy purposes.

Indianapolis Colts RB Spencer Ware could take over as the team's featured back if RB Marlon Mack were to miss time, in the opinion of The Fan's Kevin Bowen, who lists that scenario as 'quite possible.'
Huddle Up: This isn't a particularly bold stance as Nyheim Hines, who currently sits behind Mack on the depth chart, profiles as a change-of-pace back and not a true primary backup. With Mack as an RB2 you'd need to be in a pretty deep league to even consider carrying Ware as a handcuff, but just file the info away for a possible in-season addition if Mack goes down.

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron posted career highs with 66 receptions, 750 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns in 2018, and he looks to take another step forward in the final year of a two-year deal with the Colts.
Huddle Up: Ebron will be trying to impress so he can land a huge payday next offseason, either with the Colts or elsewhere. He should be a top-end TE1 in all fantasy leagues as long as he can stay healthy, as well as if Andrew Luck can avoid any injuries.
