Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox (hamstring) participated in practice Monday, Aug. 19. He has been sidelined since the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Knox may be the starting tight end for the Bills Week 1 if Tyler Kroft is still sidelined because of his injury. He probably should not be selected in fantasy drafts but could be a waiver wire option during the season if he plays well.

Buffalo Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) is 'moving in the right direction' in his recovery from foot surgery, according to head coach Sean McDermott Sunday, Aug. 18. McDermott didn't provide a timeline for Kroft's return to the field but added he has been working on his own behind the scenes.
Huddle Up: Kroft was a candidate to be a late-round fantasy pick for those punting the tight end position, buy fantasy roster managers will now likely be able to wait to see how he starts the season before picking him up off of the waiver wire.

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley caught all five of his targets for 44 yards in a 27-14 preseason win over the Carolina Panthers Friday, Aug. 16.
Huddle Up: Beasley is ticketed for the starting slot receiver job, and if he emerges as a safety valve for Josh Allen, he could become a useful depth option in PPR formats.

Buffalo Bills RB Devin Singletary rushed twice for six yards and caught three of his five targets for 25 yards in a 27-14 preseason win over the Carolina Panthers Friday, Aug. 16.
Huddle Up: Singletary showed promise as a receiver, and at the very least, he should have a role as a third-down back to start his career. His ceiling is much higher, but for now, he should be considered a RB4.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed nine of his 11 passes for 102 yards and rushed once for a yard in a 27-14 preseason win over the Carolina Panthers Friday, Aug. 16.
Huddle Up: The efficient night throwing the ball is an encouraging sign. Allen showed his upside as a runner as a rookie, and if he can start to consistently make throws from the pocket, he has QB1 potential. For now, he is best suited for best ball formats.

Buffalo Bills WR Zay Jones (head) was checked for a concussion during the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 8, but was cleared to return.
Huddle Up: Jones likely will be one of the starting receivers for the Bills this season and could receive a solid amount of targets. He has a chance to be a late-round option in fantasy drafts.

Buffalo Bills WR Andre Roberts has been consistently rotated in with the first-team offense along with WRs Cole Beasley, John Brown, Robert Foster and Zay Jones. 'He's done a good job,' head coach Sean McDermott said. 'We've had some injuries there so he is very willingly stepped up and shown what he has.'
Huddle Up: It's expected Beasley and Brown would be the top two receivers in Buffalo, but it's a rather fluid situation and Roberts could take advantage. However, at this point he is nothing more than a late-round flier in most fantasy leagues until further notice.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy told the team's website Tuesday, Aug. 6, that he believes he's still 'the guy' and suggested he has had that opinion reinforced by the coaching staff.
Huddle Up: McCoy will almost certainly be the Week 1 starter, but the main question is whether or not he will lead a committee right away or be given a chance to prove he can still be a workhorse. The team's offseason additions of Frank Gore and Devin Singletary figure to make the former a reality sooner than later. As such, McCoy needs to be viewed as a low-end flex option.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen can throw the football 'literally anywhere he wants on the field,' according to WR Cole Beasley.
Huddle Up: Allen's arm strength has never been questioned, but his accuracy remains a work in progress. His rushing ability will keep him in the QB2 conversation, but for now, Allen is a better option in keeper formats than in redraft leagues.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (personal) returned to practice Thursday, Aug. 1, after missing the previous session.
Huddle Up: McCoy's best years are behind him, and there have been rumors that he could be moved this season. He should lead the Buffalo backfield if he sticks around, but with veteran Frank Gore and rookie Devin Singletary also in the mix, McCoy looks like a low-upside flex option.

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley 'catches everything' and is off to a great start in training camp, according to Mike Catalana of 13WHAM ABC Rochester.
Huddle Up: Beasley is set to handle slot duties for the Bills, and he is worth a look as a bench option in PPR formats for a Buffalo passing attack that is still searching for a go-to target.

Buffalo Bills WR Zay Jones has worked 'almost exclusively' with the first-team offense during training camp, according to Mark Gaughan of The Buffalo News.
Huddle Up: Somebody has to emerge as the top target in Buffalo, and Jones will be in the mix. Still, Buffalo will likely have one of the weaker passing attacks in the NFL, limiting the upside of the entire receiving corps. Jones is no more than a late-round flier.

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (core) will participate in practices during training camp, but the team will keep an eye on him since he is coming back from a core muscle surgery, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Huddle Up: Beasley should serve as the slot receiver for the Bills this season as long as he does not suffer any setbacks. He likely will receive a solid amount of targets this season and will have value in point-per-reception leagues.

Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore (undisclosed) passed his physical and was removed from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Thursday, July 25.
Huddle Up: Gore is a part of a crowded backfield with the Bills but should receive some carries each game. He could be a late round option in some deeper standard leagues depending on his role.

Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore (undisclosed) should be fine despite being placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list, according to sources. The team is looking to limit the wear on his body.
Huddle Up: Gore is part of a crowded running back group for the Bills but has posted solid numbers over the last few seasons. He may be the No. 2 running back for the Bills this season and could have some value in deeper standard leagues.

Rival teams believe the Buffalo Bills could release someone from the group of RBs LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon, according to MMQB's Albert Breer, who notes that McCoy is set to earn far more money than Gore or Yeldon.
Huddle Up: Barring injury, Devin Singletary is going to make the 53-man roster. Beyond that, training camp will sort things out, though Yeldon seems the most like casualty at this stage.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen led all quarterbacks in 2018 with seven rushes of at least 25 yards.
Huddle Up: Allen's rushing numbers, which consisted of 631 yards and a QB-most eight TDs, accounted for a whopping 43.6 percent of his fantasy points as a rookie. But he'll have to develop more as a passer to become anything more than a low-end QB2.

Buffalo Bills WRs John Brown (personal), Cole Beasley (core), Zay Jones (undisclosed) and Robert Foster (undisclosed) all missed some offseason workouts but all four are expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: The Bills added Brown and Beasley this offseason, so they will have big roles in the passing game this season. None of the Bills receivers are weekly starting options but should all have fantasy value.

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster is the 'most important wideout' for the Bills, according to Bill Barnwell of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: Foster flashed some potential late last season, but the additions of Cole Beasley, John Brown and Tyler Kroft have the pecking order for targets up in the air heading into 2019. Still, Foster is worth a late-round flier as a WR5 in case he continues to develop into one of Josh Allen's favorite weapons.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy said he has been 'begging' the front office to sign RB Frank Gore for the last two seasons.
Huddle Up: Even after 14 years in the league, Gore can still be a steady runner between the tackles. As long as he is healthy, McCoy should at least be a flex option as the lead back, but Gore and rookie Devin Singletary will eat into his workload a bit.

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley is going to be a 'safety valve' in the passing game, according to QB Josh Allen.
Huddle Up: Beasley should slide right into the slot role in Buffalo, but his production will depend on the Allen's growth. He could be worth a late-round flier in PPR formats, but keep in mind that Zay Jones led the Bills in receptions last year with just 56 catches.

Buffalo Bills WR John Brown's 'knack for gaining separation on fly routes' should fit well with QB Josh Allen's love of the deep ball, according to Nate Mendelson BuffaloBills.com.
Huddle Up: Brown was enjoying a solid year in Baltimore last season before Lamar Jackson took over and led a run-heavy attack. He will probably be a big-play dependent, boom-or-bust option in Buffalo, but Brown will be worth a look as a WR4/WR5.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen enters training camp as the unquestioned starter under center. He impressed his teammates with the deep ball during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp. Allen spent more time looking to use him arm and less time scrambling.
Huddle Up: Allen should take a step forward as a solid fantasy option, as he has more offensive weapons around him. Zay Jones is emerging as a threat, Cole Beasley is a solid slot receiver, while John Brown and Andre Roberts have proven to be useful in the past. If Tyler Kroft (foot) can stay healthy, the Buffalo offense could be fairly dynamic with a strong run game. Allen is a QB2 to start the season, but could easily rise into low-end QB1 territory.

Buffalo Bills RB Devin Singletary split first-team reps with RBs Frank Gore and LeSean McCoy during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp. The competition for snaps should heat up heading into training camp and the preseason.
Huddle Up: Singletary is a rookie out of Florida Atlantic who posted 4,287 rushing yards at 6.0 yards per carry and 66 rushing touchdowns in three years of college is a real wild card in Western New York. If he emerges like the club hopes, it could make LeSean McCoy and his price tag expendable. Target 'Motor' as a RB4 in fantasy drafts, and hope that he pushes 'Shady' to the curb and rises to RB2 or flex status.

Buffalo Bills WR John Brown quickly became a frequent target of QB Josh Allen during offseason practices, and he even received an endorsement from former NFL QB Carson Palmer to be a No. 1 wide receiver.
Huddle Up: Brown and Cole Beasley were huge additions for the Buffalo offense during the offseason, and Brown could have some impact as a WR3 or flex fantasy option, especially early on in the season. Weather is always an issue which impacts the fantasy value of Buffalo receivers late in the season, so make sure to have plenty of depth on hand.

Buffalo Bills RBs LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore and Devin Singletary rotated snaps with the first-team throughout offseason practices. Bills.com writer Nate Mendelson believes the competition for snaps will 'heat up during training camp.'
Huddle Up: It seems only a matter of time before Buffalo moves on from McCoy, but the Bills would be doing themselves a disservice by not making sure Singletary is ready to handle the rigors of the job first. McCoy is entering the final year of his contract and should lead the backfield in touches, but there's a distinct possibility this will end up being a committee. It's quite possible none of the three will consistent enough in fantasy to be an every-week starter.

Buffalo Bills WR John Brown routinely worked with the first-team offense during spring practices.
Huddle Up: When healthy, Brown has shown a knack for making big plays, and he was off to a solid start with the Ravens last year before Lamar Jackson took over as quarterback. There is a chance he becomes a downfield threat for Josh Allen in Buffalo, and Brown is worth a look as a WR4/WR5.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has improved, according to RB LeSean McCoy. 'He looks better,' McCoy said. 'I think he looks more confident. I think last year he just played off of talent. Sometimes, when quarterbacks are really talented, you overlook how smart they really are. Josh is smart.'
Huddle Up: Allen still has a ways to go to be a fantasy asset outside of keeper leagues. Keep tabs on his progress, but he's a mediocre QB2 in fantasy.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy expects to maintain a large role in the offense in his age-31 season in 2019. 'I'm a type of guy, I thrive off of having a big name. So when guys come to my team, they're curious to see, 'How is LeSean McCoy? Is he still a good player?' I mean, I'm a dominant player. I think that speaks for itself. But I'll be in the same role as last year. And I look forward to putting some numbers up and bouncing back from that last season,' McCoy said Tuesday, June 12.
Huddle Up: McCoy totaled just 752 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns last season. Both numbers were career worsts as he played in 14 games but made just 13 starts. He remains No. 1 on the Bills' depth chart, but he'll be competing against veteran RB Frank Gore and third-round rookie Devin Singletary. He's fallen into RB4 territory but could prove to be a steal at a mid-round price.
