San Francisco 49ers DL Robert Nkemdiche was released Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Free-agent TE Robert Nkemdiche (Seahawks) signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, July 26. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Seattle Seahawks practice squad DT Robert Nkemdiche was signed to the 53-man roster Tuesday, Sept. 28. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Seattle Seahawks DT Robert Nkemdiche (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Aug. 4, because of a groin injury.

Seattle Seahawks DL Robert Nkemdiche is 'going to be a real competitive part of this (defensive line) group,' according to head coach Pete Carroll. 'He's got a really good spirit about him. He's upbeat, active, he's explosive and has really good quickness. He's over 300 pounds and he moves really well. He's going to be a real competitive part of this group. ... His mentality is like he has a second chance on his football life and he knows that, which is really important. He's trying to seize every opportunity and ... we're really happy to have him as part of this thing. We think he's going to be a factor,' Carroll said.

Free agent DT Robert Nkemdiche (Dolphins) on Thursday, April 29, signed an undisclosed contract with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Indianapolis Colts worked out free agents WRs Marcell Ateman, Chris Finke, Kendrick Murphy, Darrius Shepherd and Jordan Suell, QB Brian Lewerke and DT Robert Nkemdiche on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
