The Houston Texans placed CB Johnathan Joseph (toe) and RB Deji Karim (shoulder) on the season-ending Injured Reserve list Tuesday, Dec. 24. The team also signed free-agent RB Ray Graham (Steelers) to the active roster.
Huddle Up: IDP owners take note as the Texans' season is staying brutal until the end with their top cover corner finishing on the shelf.

Houston Texans CB Johnathan Joseph (hamstring), who has missed the past two games due to a hamstring strain, is likely to play in the Week 14 game against the New England Patriots Monday, Dec. 10. 'He didn't practice the whole practice today. But when he did practice, he looked like he was fine,' defensive coordinator Wade Phillips said Friday, Dec. 7.
Huddle Up: Good timing for the Texans who will be facing Tom Brady on Monday night after surrendering 3-straight 300-yard games and a total of 7 passing TDs during Joseph's absence.

Houston Texans CB Johnathan Joseph (hamstring) is out for Week 12, according to a team source. Joseph is just not quite ready yet.

Houston Texans CB Johnathan Joseph could be a game-time decision for the team's Week 12 game.
Huddle Up: Joseph is nursing a hamstring injury. If he can't go on Thursday it would open the door for Calvin Johnson to have a big day--not that he wouldn't be able to put up big numbers on Joseph, just that removing Joseph from the lineup would remove a major impediment to Megatron going off on Thanksgiving Day.

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said he hopes CB Johnathan Joseph (groin) will be able to play Week 4 but will wait to hear from the doctors before making a decision. Kubiak said the team was expecting Joseph to do something during practice but was too sore.
Huddle Up: This could be a boon for Tennessee as Joseph is Houston's best cornerback. Kenny Britt could be a particularly big beneficiary of Joseph's absence should he be forced to miss this week. If he is forced out of action, Britt's Week 4 ranking would get a boost.

The addition of CB Johnathan Joseph has been a huge reason the Houston Texans defense has turned it around this season, and finds itself ranked No. 1 in the NFL. Joseph leads the team with three interceptions. 'I said when I first got in here, that was last year and doesn't have anything to do with this year,' Joseph said. 'We're sitting right now number one, and of course we've got a red dot on our back, but that's a good thing,' Joseph said.
Huddle Up: Texans fans revolted when the team didn't (couldn't) land CB Nnamdi Asomugha in free agency, but Joseph has flashed similar talent at times... for much, much cheaper.
