Free-agent WR Ted Ginn Jr. (Bears) announced his retirement from professional football Friday, July 16.

Chicago Bears C Cody Whitehair (calf) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 30, and has been ruled out for Week 8. WR Cordarrelle Patterson (quadriceps) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. S Eddie Jackson (knee) and CB Sherrick McManis (hamstring) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. OG Rashaad Coward (finger), WR Ted Ginn Jr. (non-injury), TE Cole Kmet (back) and OT Jason Spriggs (back) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
