Los Angeles Rams S Eric Weddle said he is retiring again after the Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 13.

The Los Angeles Rams promoted FS Eric Weddle and S Blake Countess from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Feb. 12.

RB Cam Akers led the team with 48 yards on 13 carries, followed by RB Sony Michel, who had 10 rushing attempts for 16 yards. WR Cooper Kupp logged 11 receptions, 142 yards and 2 TDs. WR Odell Beckham posted 113 yards on nine receptions. WR Van Jefferson had just two catches for nine yards while dealing with a knee injury. TE Kendall Blanton had five grabs for 57 yards in relief of injured TE Tyler Higbee (knee). DB Eric Weddle led the team with nine tackles.

I think it's a foregone conclusion. ... We've got some good, young players. So, we'll see. Nothing is set in stone, but I've had a great run. No regrets, baby,' Weddle said.

Los Angeles Rams LB Clay Matthews (jaw) was unable to practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 7 versus the Atlanta Falcons. RB Malcolm Brown (ankle) also did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. S Eric Weddle (non-injury) did not practice Friday, Oct. 18, but was removed from the injury report. CB Jalen Ramsey (non-injury) and RB Todd Gurley (quad) practiced in full Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.
