New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (biceps) is out for the season with a torn right biceps tendon.
Huddle Up: Tough blow for the Giants defense to lose Amukamara, but good fantasy news for those passing games with the Giants still on their schedule this year.

Updating previous reports, New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara will have an MRI on his groin. The team is concerned, and Amukamara is sore.
Huddle Up: Something to keep an eye on as Amukamara is the key incumbent among the Giants' reconfigured CB corps.

New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (concussion) is not participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 12.
Huddle Up: Under the definition of the term "not good" is having a starting CB ailing with Peyton Manning and the Broncos' WRs coming to town.

New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (ankle) was limited in practice Friday, Sept. 14, and is questionable for the team's Week 2 game.
Huddle Up: With Amukamara, already replacing the injured Terrell Thomas, missing the season opener against the Cowboys, QB Tony Romo and his WRs had their way with the N.Y. secondary. Bucs' QB Josh Freeman and wideouts Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams could do more damage Sunday, especially if Amukamara doesn't play.

New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (ankle) is dealing with a high ankle sprain, and he is not expected to be available for the regular season opener Wednesday, Sept. 5, against the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: With Terrell Thomas (IR) and rookie Jayron Hosley (injury) also out of the picture, it will likely be up to either Michael Coe or Justin Tryon, both fifth-year vets, to step in Week 1.

New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (ankle) said he is making good progress in his recovery from a high ankle sprain. He said Week 2 appears to be a more promising target for him but is not ruling out being ready for Week 1.
Huddle Up: The Giants' early start to the season (Sept. 5) likely is going to be the determining factor here. Look for Amukamara in Week 2.

Updating previous reports, New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain during the team's third preseason game Friday, Aug. 24.
Huddle Up: Things are getting rather thin in the Giants' secondary. Amaukamara, a first-round pick in 2011, already was filling in for starter Terrell Thomas, who injured a knee early in camp. Amukamara himself sat out his first nine games as a rookie with a broken foot.

New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (foot) said he is still dealing with the effects of his foot injury. He had an injection in his foot and is not expected to run for a few more weeks. He is in attendance for the offseason workouts but is only lifting weights.
Huddle Up: His teammate Ahmad Bradshaw had the same injury (on both feet), the fifth metatarsal bone, but somehow plays through all the injections and screws. Others like Chaz Schilens and Donte Stallworth can't seem to get back to normal after this injury.
