Arizona Cardinals TE Charles Clay (back) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Huddle Up: Clay posted solid numbers in Week 8 but will be facing one of the top defenses in the NFL this week. Fantasy players should be able to find better options and can avoid Clay.

Arizona Cardinals TE Charles Clay (back) was limited during practice Monday, Oct. 28. The Cardinals did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Clay had the best game of his season in Week 8 but will be facing a tough San Francisco 49ers defense this week and can be avoided in most leagues.

Arizona Cardinals TE Charles Clay caught three passes for 88 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. He was targeted three times during the game.
Huddle Up: Clay more than doubled his season total this week with his 88 yards. He has not been targeted more than three times in any game this season and probably can be avoided in fantasy leagues despite his performance.

Arizona Cardinals TE Charles Clay (knee) was activated from the the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Sunday, Aug. 11.
Huddle Up: Clay, a fantasy factor 3-4 years ago, is now part of a deep group that includes Ricky Seals-Jones and Maxx Williams and doesn't belong on the fantasy radar outside of the deepest of leagues.

Arizona Cardinals TE Charles Clay (knee) was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday, July 20.
Huddle Up: Clay has a good chance to be the starter for the Cardinals this season but may not have a big role in the passing game. He probably can be avoided in most leagues.

Free-agent TE Charles Clay (Bills) signed a one-year contract Tuesday, Feb. 19, with the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: Clay's target, reception and fantasy-point totals have been declined in each of the last two seasons, and now he's going one from shaky offense to another. And although the Cards are in dire need of a pass-catching weapon like Clay, don't expect much more than a TE2 season.

Buffalo Bills TE Charles Clay was released Friday, Feb. 15.
Huddle Up: Clay is coming off a disappointing 2018 season and has been held to under 600 yards in each of the last four seasons. He should not be an option in most fantasy leagues even if he finds another starting job.
