Updating a previous report, free-agent RB Chris Thompson (Redskins) officially signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars Wednesday, May 13. Official terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Thompson likely will be the third down back for the Jaguars and could also see a few carries each game. He probably will be more valuable in point-per-reception leagues but could be a late round pick in deeper standard leagues as well.

Free-agent RB Chris Thompson (Redskins) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, May 1, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Thompson likely will have a role in the passing game as a third-down back with the Jaguars like he did while playing for the Washington Redskins last season. He will have some value in point-per-reception leagues but will not be a weekly flex option.

Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson rushed eight times for 34 yards in Week 16 against the New York Giants and he added four grabs for 18 yards on his four targets.
Huddle Up: Thompson has been a decent PPR fantasy option when healthy, but it's hard to gauge his value heading into 2020 until we see what the personnel will look like. He'll try and finish up strong in Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Huddle Up: Thompson will be serving as the receiver out of the backfield with Adrian Peterson and Derrius Guice handling the carries. He should continue to be involved in the passing game next week and can be a flex option in point-per-reception leagues.
