Jacksonville Jaguars RB Alfred Blue is the 'frontrunner' for the No. 2 spot behind RB Leonard Fournette, in the opinion of The Florida Times-Union's John Reid.
Huddle Up: There are some other recognizable names on the depth chart, including Thomas Rawls and rookie Ryquell Armstead, but Blue has been penciled in as RB2 since he signed with the Jags. He remains a decent late-round handcuff for Fournette owners.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Alfred Blue was absent from the team's OTA workouts Tuesday, May 28, for an unspecified, non-medical reason.
Huddle Up: Keep an eye on Blue as he's vying with Thomas Rawls, Benny Cunningham and rookie Ryquell Armstead to serve as the primary backup to the oft-injured Leonard Fournette.

Free-agent RB Alfred Blue (Texans) signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday, April 1, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Blue was a solid contributor for the Houston Texans behind Lamar Miller. He'll make for a high-end handcuff behind Leonard Fournette in Jacksonville.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue ran four times for 14 yards in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles and he added four grabs for 26 yards on five targets.
Huddle Up: Blue was the best of the lot in the backfield, as D'Onta Foreman had nine total touches but just minus-1 rushing yards, although he did score on a catch. Neither is particularly attractive from a fantasy perspective in Week 17 against Jacksonville if Lamar Miller is forced to miss time again.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue will be the starting running back for the Texans in their Week 16 game.
Huddle Up: Blue likely will receive most of the work at running back but probably will lose some snaps to D'Onta Foreman. Blue can be considered at least a flex option in leagues and could be a low-end No. 2 running back in deeper leagues.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue ran six times for 21 yards and a touchdown in the Week 14 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: Blue made the most of his limited touches, but he would need an injury to Lamar Miller before he has fantasy appeal outside of the very deepest of leagues. The Texans travel to meet the Jets next Saturday.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue rushed for 54 yards on 13 carries against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Blue has received at least 10 carries in four of the last five games and has been a fine No. 2 running back behind Lamar Miller. Blue probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues unless Miller suffers an injury.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue carried the ball 15 times for 42 yards against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, Oct. 25.
Huddle Up: No matter how many touches he gets, Blue can't seem to make much headway -- he's averaged fewer than 4.0 yards per carry in each of the team's last six games. Once D'Onta Foreman returns it might be time to cut Blue loose.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue rushed seven times for 26 yards in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills and he added two receptions for 17 yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Blue was back to a reserve role after being the bellcow in Week 5 with Lamar Miller (chest) on the sidelines. As such, he is back to RB4 status heading into Week 7.

Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue carried 20 times for 46 yards and caught eight passes for 73 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.
Huddle Up: With Lamar Miller relegated to standing next to Bill O'Brien, Blue served as the team's primary back. It was tough sledding in the run game, but he picked up the slack as a receiver to finish with 119 total yards. Obviously Blue's value is tied to Miller's status. If Miller is ready to play next week, Blue holds no appeal. If not, Blue could be a capable fill-in.
