Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West ran for a yard on his only carry but caught two of his three targets for 37 yards - including a 25-yard touchdown - in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Darrel Williams went out early with a hamstring injury, leaving West as the primary backup to Damien Williams. It didn't lead to many snaps, but luck was on his side when Patrick Mahomes rolled left and threw against his body to an open West cutting across the middle of the field. West isn't going to see much work barring an injury to Damien Williams moving forward, and this effort should pretty much be his fantasy ceiling.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West ran once for one yard and he added two grabs for 37 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: West hasn't been back with the team long, but he is obviously familiar with the system. He's behind Damien Williams, but as long as Spencer Ware is sidelined West could see a few touches in Week 17. He is still only worth a roster spot in the deepest of leagues deciding their championship in the final week of the regular season.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (concussion) missed another practice Saturday, Aug. 4, due to concussion.
Huddle Up: West is reportedly on the bubble for a roster spot, so this missing time certainly isn't helping his cause. Even if he were to make the team's roster he would have very limited fantasy appeal unless injuries at the position opened up a more prominent role.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (concussion) has been diagnosed with a concussion and did not participate in practice Sunday, July 29. West left practice early Saturday, July 28, after taking a blow to the head.
Huddle Up: West will miss some practice time because of the injury, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. He may serve as the No. 2 running back for the Chiefs this season but will not receive a lot of playing time. He probably should only be considered a handcuff to Kareem Hunt.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (concussion) was able to practice in full on Friday, Oct. 27.
Huddle Up: West has practiced in full for each of the past two days and he appears on track to play Monday against the Broncos. When healthy he is more of a RB3 in PPR formats, and barely moves the needle for fantasy owners in standard formats as long as Kareem Hunt is healthy.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (concussion) has a good chance to play in Week 8, according to head coach Andy Reid.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West left the Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second half and he is being evaluated for concussion.
Huddle Up: It's uncertain if and when the third-down back will be able to return. To make matters worse for West's fantasy owners, somehow the helmet-to-helmet hit was not flagged.
