Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith rushed 12 times for 35 yards with a touchdown in Week 17 against the New York Giants and he added two grabs for 14 yards.
Huddle Up: Smith was handling the majority of the backfield work with Ezekiel Elliott resting, so he'll be back to a reserve role for the wild-card round next weekend against the Seattle Seahawks.

Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith rushed six times for 47 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the New York Giants and he added five receptions for a game-high 113 yards and another score on his five targets.
Huddle Up: Smith looked great, rushing for 7.8 yards per attempt to just 3.3 per carry for Alfred Morris. He likely will eat into the touches of Morris in Week 15, the final game before Ezekiel Elliott returns from his six-game suspension. He could have a one-week window to work as a RB3 or flex option for fantasy owners.

Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith caught five passes for 113 yards and one touchdown against the New York Giants in Week 14. He also rushed for 47 yards and one touchdown on six carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Smith has received limited touches while Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended, but this was his first big-time performance of the season. He may see some more touches against the Oakland Raiders next week and could be a flex option in leagues.

Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith gained 27 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown against the Washington Redskins on Thursday, Nov. 30.
Huddle Up: It was Alfred Morris' world Thursday night, but Smith still found the end zone for a second consecutive week. While he's clearly behind Morris in the pecking order, Smith could be a desperation play in larger leagues.

Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith rushed nine times for 41 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for seven yards in a 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday, Nov. 23.
Huddle Up: Smith split carries with Alfred Morris, and the Dallas offense delivered another dud without Ezekiel Elliott leading the rushing attack. Smith is a RB4 until Elliott returns.

Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith has a good matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday, Nov. 23, as the Chargers have allowed the most receptions to running backs the last five weeks. The Chargers have been a bottom-five team against running backs during the stretch.
Huddle Up: Smith's numbers won't wow you, but the Bolts have allowed backs to catch 10 passes per game the last four games. Alfred Morris will not be a factor in the receiving game, and Darren McFadden was inactive last week in favor of Smith. If you're in a PPR league, Smith is an under-the-radar flex option.

Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith is expected to receive touches while RB Ezekiel Elliott is suspended, and running backs coach Gary Brown believes Smith can be an every-down back in the NFL.
Huddle Up: Alfred Morris is expected to be the starter, but Smith and Darren McFadden are also going to be in the mix. Despite the praise from his position coach, Smith is no more than a lottery ticket to stash on the end of your bench in deeper leagues.
