Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake (ankle) has not been cleared for mandatory minicamp, according to The Athletic's Vic Tafur.
Huddle Up: Drake's involvement prior to the injury in last year's offense under the old regime left much to be desired. Provided he returns in a reasonable amount of time to get on-field reps within the new system, Drake has a bit more appeal. Head coach Josh McDaniels is known for employing a committee approach, and RB Josh Jacobs is no stranger to nagging injuries. Drake is a low-tier RB4 or a better fifth back to serve as depth.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake restructured his contract Thursday, March 10. Terms weren't disclosed, but the team cleared $14.525 million by restructuring him and OT Kolton Miller.
Huddle Up: Drake's roster spot looks to be safe now, but he really can't flourish here unless Josh Jacobs gets hurt. Drake will be an RB5 and handcuff to Jacobs.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake is a candidate to be released or be asked to restructure his contract this offseason since he is scheduled to count $8.5 million against the salary cap in 2022.
Huddle Up: Drake is no longer a starting option but could be a third down back for the team that could also see some carries in the running game. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation because he could have some value in point-per-reception leagues.

Updating a previous report, Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake (ankle) will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a fractured ankle Sunday, Dec. 5, in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Drake had done hardly anything in the last month but was still a serviceable insurance policy for the oft-injured Josh Jacobs. Look toward RB Peyton Barber for roster depth and as a handcuff.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake (ankle) suffered an ankle injury against the Washington Football Team in Week 13.
Huddle Up: If Drake misses time moving forward, Peyton Barber should slide into the backup role behind Josh Jacobs.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake rushed for 25 yards on seven carries against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12. He also caught two passes for five yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Drake has not been a big factor in the offense over the last few weeks with only 89 total yards in the last three games. He probably will see a handful of touches next week but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Kenyan Drake (knee) fully participated in practice Monday, Nov. 22. The Raiders did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.
