Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny averaged 3.7 yards after contact per carry - the most among running back with at least 100 carries in 2021 - according to Sports Info Solutions.
Huddle Up: The biggest caveat of Penny's fantastic finish was that at least three of the final five teams he faced over that stretch struggled to stop the run in a big way at the end of last season. It also coincided with Russell Wilson looking like his usual self following his finger injury. Penny will not have the benefit of Wilson taking the attention away from him this season and will be challenged by explosive rookie Kenneth Walker III, making Penny a likely hit-or-miss RB2 for fantasy purposes in 2022.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (hamstring) participated in practice Tuesday, May 31.
Huddle Up: Penny was sidelined last week because of the injury but should be fine moving forward. His role is uncertain at this point since Chris Carson's availability is uncertain, but Penny should see a good amount of touches no matter his role. He can be at least a No. 3 back in most fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (hamstring) is not participating in practice Monday, May 23, because of a slight hamstring injury, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Huddle Up: Penny will have plenty of time and does not need to be on the field until the mandatory minicamp or training camp. He likely will be the main running back for the Seattle Seahawks if Chris Carson is not ready to play and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy back.

Free-agent RB Rashaad Penny (Seahawks) has agreed to terms on a one-year deal to re-sign with the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, March 20, according to sources. The contract is worth $5.75 million with incentives up to $6.5 million.
Huddle Up: Penny came on strong late last year and has a chance to live up to his former first-round hype, but injuries have destroyed his credibility beyond that 2021 stretch run. The quarterback situation further complicates his outlook. Keep tabs on the signal-caller as the offseason unfolds. For now, he's a low-end No. 2 or a more reasonable flex.

Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent RB Rashaad Penny is a player the Seahawks want to re-sign this offseason, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Huddle Up: Penny played very well during the second half of the season but likely would have to share playing time with Chris Carson if he returns to the Seahawks. Fantasy players should monitor the situation because Penny could be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy back depending on his role.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Jan. 5.
Huddle Up: Penny has been one of the most valuable options in fantasy football over the last two weeks with 305 yards and three touchdowns during that span. He will see plenty of carries this week and is a must-start option in all leagues.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny ran for a career-high 170 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions. Penny also caught two of three targets for 15 yards.
Huddle Up: It is easy to attribute Penny's recent surge to the fact that the Seahawks have played the Houston Texans, Chicago Bears and Lions in the last month, but fantasy managers could care less about that right now. At the very least, the impending free agent is finally living up to his first-round draft status and creating a market for his services this offseason. Fantasy's top-scoring running back over the last month should be a solid RB2 option at worst in Week 18 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 29.
Huddle Up: Penny has been playing well recently with at least 130 yards in two of the last three games and three touchdowns during that span. He can be considered a No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny rushed 17 times for 135 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears.
Huddle Up: Penny has taken over as the primary back in the Pacific Northwest due to an assortment of injuries to others, namely Chris Carson. The former San Diego State product has had his issues staying healthy in the past, but he has emerged as a must-start fantasy option late in this lost season for the Seahawks, at least that's our two cents. Next up is a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 17.

Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny rushed 11 times for 39 yards and caught both of his targets for five yards in a 20-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15.
Huddle Up: On the heels of a monster performance against Houston, Penny saw a team-high 11 carries against the Rams but was outgained by fellow back DeeJay Dallas. Penny should continue to play a major part of the rushing attack, but he is best used as a flex option.
