Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) may be out until October as he had to delay surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament until Jan. 29 in order to let his medial collateral ligament heal.
Huddle Up: Hockenson's fantasy value will certainly take a hit if he's not available for the start of the season, but if he drops too far, he could become a value pick as a midrange TE1.

Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) underwent surgery Monday, Jan. 29, to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: Hockenson may be sidelined until training camp, so fantasy players should monitor his recovery during the offseason. He is a big part of the Vikings passing game when healthy and can be a No. 1 fantasy tight end in leagues next season if he is medically cleared to play.

Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his right knee on Tuesday, Dec. 26. Hockenson will miss the remainder of the season.
Huddle Up: Devastating news for fantasy managers and the Vikings, who are already facing long odds to make the postseason. While Minnesota does not have another tight end that is in Hockenson's class, K.J. Osborn stepped up in a big way after the decorated tight end departed and could be worth a play in Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers. As for Hockenson's status, multiple ligament tears this late in the season figure to put him at risk of not being ready on time for the 2024 season.

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson's (knee) outlook is not good, and the team is hoping to be surprised by the MRI. His season could be over.
Huddle Up: With Jordan Addison (ankle) also week-to-week, things are certainly dicey for Minnesota. Josh Oliver is the backup to Hockenson, and he could be a TE2 option. He has a 19-165-2 line on the season.

Huddle Up: Hockenson currently ranks first among tight ends in catches and second in yards, and even with Nick Mullens under center, he should remain a TE1.
