Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson reportedly gave DE Carlos Dunlap his assurance he isn't going anywhere else in 2021 before the latter re-signed with the Seahawks last month.
Huddle Up: The Wilson trade talk has died down considerably since reaching a bit of a fevered pitch a few weeks ago. Perhaps Wilson is happy with some of the team's recent additions or maybe the few teams that were desperate enough to pay the price of three first-round picks decided to bow out. Whatever the reason, it's hard to imagine the addition of new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron hurts his fantasy value. Wilson should remain firmly in the mid-range QB1 discussion.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson leads the NFL with 128 completions, 4,369 passing yards and 51 touchdowns on throws of 20-plus yards since 2017, according to Pro Football Focus Saturday, March 13.
Huddle Up: Wilson has been bandied about in trade rumors this offseason, but he'll be a top-flight fantasy commodity regardless of where he plays in 2021. If he were to leave the Seahawks, WRs Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf would become significantly less valuable.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is not being 'shopped,' according to a source Thursday, March 4, but calls from other teams interested in trading for Wilson have been answered.
Huddle Up: Translation: The Seahawks have every intention of sticking with Wilson unless they're absolutely blown away by an offer. Then it would be a matter of Wilson approving the deal as well. It remains an ongoing offseason hot topic, but it's most likely Wilson and his QB1 talents remain in the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson stormed out of a meeting before a Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals because he felt his ideas on how to fix the offense were being rebuffed, according to a report by The Athletic's Michael-Shawn Dugar, Mike Sando and Jayson Jenks. Wilson has attempted to add his influence to the offense and has felt shut out by coaches at times.
Huddle Up: Wilson is a midrange QB1 if he stays in Seattle, but he could have upside if he were dealt to a more potent offense.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton hit it off at the Pro Bowl three years ago, according to MMQB's Peter King. The Saints are on Wilson's list of desired destinations if he's traded.
Huddle Up: Wilson would be dynamite in the Saints' offense if it comes to fruition. This is another scenario to watch for QB1s in fantasy this offseason.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has not demanded a trade, his agent Mark Rodgers told ESPN on Thursday, Feb. 25. Wilson told the Seahawks he wants to remain with the team, but if a trade were to be considered, the only teams he would consider are the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders or New Orleans Saints, according to Rodgers.
Huddle Up: One thing is clear with the continuing Wilson reports this offseason: He and the Seahawks' coaches and brass certainly have patching up to do. He's been a top-11 fantasy QB in all nine of his seasons with the Seahawks, and despite the eye-grabbing January and February headlines, it's still hard to imagine Wilson suiting up for season No. 10 anywhere other than the Pacific Northwest come September.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson reportedly is frustrated with the team, and it has led his camp to broach trade destinations with the Seahawks, according to sources Thursday, Feb. 25. The possible destinations include the Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets, per sources.
Huddle Up: The disgruntled Wilson rumors persist in the Pacific Northwest, and if anything, they seem to be growing louder. And even even though Wilson's fantasy finishes in recent seasons have fallen noticeably short of his strong starts, he's still finished as a top-six fantasy QB in five of his last seven seasons. It's hard to imagine Seattle and Wilson parting ways after nine successful seasons, but the reports and rumors persist, and we have to imagine the possibility that Wilson takes his QB1 talents elsewhere. We'll most definitely stay tuned.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has thrown for a league-high 79 touchdowns while under pressure since entering the league in 2012 - 12 more than any other player over that span - according to Pro Football Focus.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson's $19 million salary for 2021 becomes fully guaranteed Friday, Feb. 12, after it was only guaranteed for injury previously.
Huddle Up: There are rumors swirling about Wilson on the trade market. His metrics have fallen, and the number of hits he has taken has caused questions about a decline. The position is pretty loaded in fantasy, and as strange as it sounds, he could be a low-end QB1 next year.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson said he hopes to receive better pass protection next season and will also work on trying to avoid hits.
Huddle Up: Wilson has been sacked at least 40 times in each of the last eight years and been sacked 95 times in the last two years. He is still one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL and will be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues in 2021.
