Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson completed 21 of 28 passes for 270 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions in a Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Wilson also ran three times for 10 yards.
Huddle Up: Considering that the second half of Thursday night's game was played in blizzard-like conditions, Wilson probably exceeded expectations, even connecting on some deep balls. Ultimately, though, it was the third time in four games that he's settled for one touchdown or less, which is a problem since the veteran no longer does anything with his legs. Wilson is a low-level QB2 that should only be played in positive matchups as he needs multiple TD strikes to generate meaningful fantasy value.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson completed 23 of his 36 passes for 205 yards and an interception in an 18-16 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson went 14-for-28 for 195 yards, three touchdowns and one interception against the Washington Commanders in Week 10.
Huddle Up: Wilson has thrown six touchdowns and one interception in three games since taking over as the starter but only completed half of his attempts this week. He will be facing a Baltimore Ravens defense that has struggled at times against the pass and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson completed 20-of-28 passes for 278 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 8 against the New York Giants with three runs for seven yards with one fumble lost.
Huddle Up: Wilson is averaging 272.0 passing yards per game in each of his two starts since returning from injury, and he has three passing touchdowns, one rushing score and no interceptions. He can be safely used as a QB2 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, and he isn't a bad bye-week streaming option.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson completed 16 of his 29 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-15 win over the New York Jets in Week 7. He also ran for a touchdown.
Huddle Up: After a shaky beginning, Wilson ended up delivering a solid outing in his first start with the Steelers. At the very least, he has likely bought himself as a few more games under center, and he could become a decent QB2 option.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson is expected to start over QB Justin Fields in Week 7, per sources on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Huddle Up: It was only a matter of time before the Steelers went to Wilson, who is finally healthy. Fields did a solid job in his six starters, but his passing left a lot to be desired and Pittsburgh's offense simply wasn't good enough overall for him to cement the job. Wilson provides a clear upgrade as a passer, which should provide a boost to all Steelers pass-catchers, especially George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth. With this being his 2024 debut, Wilson is best left on the bench until we see how he acclimates, but he could be a QB2 option moving forward. Meanwhile, it's worth holding on to Fields for now just in case Wilson crashes and burns and the Steelers go back to their younger option.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson got first-team reps in practice on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Huddle Up: This was expected, as head coach Mike Tomlin said the veteran signal-caller would at some point this week. The Steelers haven't made it official who will start yet, but all signs are pointing to Wilson. Wilson is a QB2 if he suits up, but a shaky one, as it's his first game of the season and he's playing behind a lackluster offensive line.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson (calf) is in line to start in Week 7 against the New York Jets, according to sources. He'll work with the first-team in practice this week.
Huddle Up: The Steelers were 4-2 with Justin Fields, and Wilson may stabilize some things offensively, but he's a downgrade in fantasy. He's only worth having in two-QB leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson (calf) practiced in full for the third straight day on Friday, Oct. 11, and was removed from the injury report.
Huddle Up: Finally, Wilson is off the injury report for the first time this season. However, he's not going to start right away, as head coach Mike Tomlin revealed Justin Fields will start again. That said, it might not be long before Wilson gets the job that he won prior to the start of the season back should Fields falter.
