Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) was officially placed on the season-ending Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Jan. 24, ending his season.
Huddle Up: It was already determined Nix would be sidelined for the AFC Championship Game, and the Super Bowl, should Denver qualify. But, this makes it official. Jarrett Stidham starts for the Broncos in Nix's stead. It's uncertain if Nix will be ready for the start of the 2026 season, and it's a story we'll follow in the summer. When healthy, Nix proved to be a decent low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Jarrett Stidham will be the starting quarterback for the rest of the playoffs but did not see any playing time during the regular season. He played well at times during his career but is unlikely to be more than a low-end No. 1 quarterback this week.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair a fractured bone in his right ankle on Tuesday, Jan. 20, according to head coach Sean Payton.
Huddle Up: There is no word yet as to whether the injury will put any of Nix's 2026 season in jeopardy, but as long as he is ready to go by Week 1, the injury shouldn't have much impact on his fantasy value.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) suffered a broken bone in his ankle during the Divisional Round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills, and he will miss the remainder of the postseason.
Huddle Up: The injury is obviously a huge blow to Denver's championship chances, and it remains to be seen how long Nix will be sidelined. Assuming he is ready for the start of next season, he should be safe to target as a high-end QB2 with QB1 potential.
