Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard (hamstring) should be ready for the start of the regular season, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Hubbard will be able to practice leading up to Week 1. He should receive a majority of the carries in the running game this season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (ankle, foot) did not play in the preseason game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, Aug. 21, because of a twisted ankle and foot soreness, according to head coach Dave Canales. Legette had his ankle rolled up on in practice Wednesday, Aug. 19, and it is uncertain how much time he will miss.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks rushed five times for 18 yards and a touchdown during the preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, Aug. 21.
Huddle Up: Brooks will look to stay healthy after injuries derailed his first two seasons, and while he will likely begin the year as the backup, Brooks should have every opportunity to carve out a bigger role as the year progresses. Consider him a low-end RB3 with upside.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young completed five of his six passes for 49 yards in the preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, Aug. 21.
Huddle Up: Young made improvements in his third season, showing signs of becoming a reliable starter. If he can maintain the same level of play that he displayed at the end of 2025, Young should be a decent QB2 option. If he makes another leap, he could be a surprise QB1.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker caught a four-yard pass on his lone target during the preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, Aug. 21.
Huddle Up: Coker began to deliver some big plays late in the season, culminating with a huge performance in the playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Coker appears to have the potential to be a legitimate secondary option across from Tetairoa McMillan, making him worth a look as a WR4 of WR5 in 2026.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan caught both of his targets for 25 yards during the preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, Aug. 21.
Huddle Up: McMillan turned in a steady rookie campaign, topping 1,000 yards and catching seven touchdowns. He has already shown he can handle being the go-to option for the Carolina passing attack, and if he both he and Bryce Young take steps forward in 2026, McMillan could post big numbers. Consider him a low-end WR2.

Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard (hamstring) will not play in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 21.
Huddle Up: Hubbard is unlikely to play again during the preseason, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if he will be ready for Week 1. He will receive a majority of the carries in the running game this season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks rushed three times for five yards and caught a nine-yard pass during the preseason game against the Buffalo Bills Saturday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: Injuries have ruined the first two seasons of Brooks' career, but he is currently healthy and should have a steady role in the offense. The Panthers will likely ease Brooks into action, but if he performs well, he could force himself into an even timeshare with Chuba Hubbard. Brooks is a boom-or-bust RB4.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young completed three of his five passes for 18 yards during the preseason game against the Buffalo Bills Saturday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: While Young saw some brief action, he was one of the few Carolina starters to suit up. There is some optimism surrounding Young after his improved play down the stretch of 2025, but it remains to be seen if he can deliver solid results for an entire year. For now, Young should still be considered a midrange QB2.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker has been open regularly during training camp and has been catching passes consistently during practices, according to ESPN.com's Mike Kaye.
Huddle Up: Coker received a contract extension this offseason and is on track to start opposite Tetairoa McMillan this season. He will see a handful of targets each game and can be a late round pick in fantasy drafts.

Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard (hamstring) is out of practice Thursday, Aug. 13, due to a hamstring injury. Head coach Dave Canales said he's confident Hubbard will be ready for Week 1.
Huddle Up: Jonathon Brooks' stock receives another boost with Hubbard on the shelf. Brooks was already expected to take over as lead back, and this setback for Hubbard gives him more runway. Hubbard's ADP is 80, and Brooks' is at 125. Look for that gap to be bridged in the coming days. Both are RB3s that you'll need to handcuff together.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks is scheduled to play in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 15, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Huddle Up: Brooks has been limited to only three games since entering the league in 2024 but seems to be on track to play this season. He will be behind Chuba Hubbard on the depth chart but could see a decent amount of touches during games. He can probably be a No. 4 running back in most fantasy leagues but is unlikely to be a starting option most weeks.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young will play in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 15, on the road against the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Dave Canales said Young and the starters will play 10-20 plays depending on how the drives develop.
Huddle Up: While Young threw for 3,011 passing yards, 23 passing touchdowns and 11 interceptions, while running for 216 yards and two more scores, easily his best overall production in three NFL seasons, the jury is still out on his long-term viability. For fantasy purposes, he is still solid entrenched as a low-end QB2 in most leagues. He should only be drafted in deeper leagues, or those formats which starter two quarterbacks.

Updating an earlier report, Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (neck) suffered a stinger during practice on Tuesday, Aug. 4. As a result, Legette will not play in the team's preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, Aug. 6.
Huddle Up: Legette is competing for the WR3 spot in camp and would hold little fantasy value even if he wins the job outright.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette is "well-positioned" to win the No. 3 receiver job, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, though Fowler adds that WR David Moore is "trusted and reliable" after working with head coach Dave Canales and offensive coordinator Brad Idzik with the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before arriving in Carolina. Fowler writes that if Legette "slips," Moore could step in a larger role.
Huddle Up: A first-round pick in 2024, Legette already sits behind Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker in the pecking order, and his position with the club is far from secure after a couple of nondescript seasons to begin his NFL career. A viable late-round flier a season ago, Legette is at best a watch-list candidate at this stage, and even then that might only apply to those in larger leagues.

Carolina Panthers WR Chris Brazzell II (knee) is scheduled to undergo surgery on his torn lateral collateral ligament and will miss the entire 2026 season, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Brazzell has a chance to earn a solid role in the passing game as a rookie but will miss the season because of the injury. Tetairoa McMillan is the only Panthers receiver that should be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers WR Chris Brazzell II suffered a moderate LCL tear in his left knee in practice on Wednesday, July 29. He is expected to miss up to 8 weeks.
Huddle Up: With the injury occurring to Brazzell, this means that Jalen Coker could see an increased role alongside Tetairoa McMillan. Coker could be a WR3 or flex play at the start of the season with the increased targets.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) "looks fast" during practice, according to head coach Dave Canales. "He looks like the guy that I remember, and I'm really excited for that," Canales said.
Huddle Up: Injuries have derailed Brooks' career up to this point, but he should at least be the primary backup to Chuba Hubbard to begin the year. There is also a chance that Brooks carves out a bigger role as the season goes on and ends up being a steal for fantasy owners. At worst, he should be a handcuff for Hubbard.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (foot) has been able to practice at training camp after missing time during spring activities with a foot injury.
Huddle Up: McMillan made an instant impact as a rookie, wasting no time becoming the No. 1 option for the Carolina passing attack. He should be the go-to option again in 2026, putting McMillan in the WR2 mix in fantasy formats.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks will have "no limitations" returning to practice.
Huddle Up: Brooks will split the backfield work with RB Chuba Hubbard, so neither will likely be a top-end fantasy asset in 2026. However, Brooks has a chance to be worth a flex play, or Hubbard, depending on the percentage in which carries are split.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette is 'on the hot seat' this season, in the opinion of The Charlotte Observer's Mike Kaye on Monday, July 20.
Huddle Up: Legette's fantasy value cratered last season as he went from a somewhat promising 49-497-4 rookie campaign in 2024 to just 64 targets and 35-363-3 in 15 games. His per-route metrics showed a lack of improvement and efficiency, which is why Legette is the third receiver for Carolina entering 2026. Firmly behind Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker, Legette will have to rebuild his fantasy value. Legette is not worth drafting in your fantasy drafts, but could be a waiver-wire pickup during the season if he improves or there are injuries ahead of him.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young is viewed as the long-term franchise quarterback in Carolina, but they are not in a rush to jump the market for an extension, which may not happen until next offseason, in the opinion of ESPN's Dan Graziano on Tuesday, June 30.
Huddle Up: Young has upped his touchdowns from 11 in his rookie season of 2023 to 23 last season in 2025. The Panthers were 8-8 in Young's 16 starts last season, and if Young can continue making steps, he'll be a solid fantasy quarterback. As it stands, he's outside the fantasy top-12 but a sleeper option in drafts for 2026.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette is looking to rebound in 2026 after a down season in his sophomore NFL campaign. A lot had to do with teammate WR Tetairoa McMillan having a giant season, winning Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. "My main thing is just to have a better year than my first two years," Legette said. "I can't -- I can't -- have another year like I did last year. I can't do that."
Huddle Up: Legette had 49 receptions for 497 yards and four touchdowns with 84 targets in his rookie season of 2024, but he slopped to 35 grabs for 363 yards and four scores on 64 targets. He saw nearly a 10% decrease in snap totals, and the emergence of McMillan and Jalen Coker certainly didn't help matters. Legette is a player who appears hungry for a bounce back, but he should only have fantasy appeal in deeper leagues until he proves otherwise.

Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker agreed to terms on a three-year, $35 million extension with incentives worth up to $41 million, according to his agent.
Huddle Up: Coker's play improved throughout the year, culminating in a monster performance in a playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams. While Tetairoa McMillan is the unquestioned No. 1 option in the Carolina passing game, Coker could emerge as the No. 2 option. He is worth grabbing in the later rounds of 2026 drafts as a potential WR5.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (foot) missed some time during the mandatory minicamp because of a foot injury but hopes to be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if McMillan will be on the field for the first practice of training camp. He is coming off a terrific rookie season and will be the main option in the passing game in 2026. He can be a No. 2 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan said he has added 17 pounds of muscle this offseason.
Huddle Up: McMillan had a terrific rookie season with 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns and will be the main receiver for the Panthers again in 2026. He has quickly become one of the better receivers in the NFL and is at least a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks needs to stay healthy, but could potentially become the lead back in Carolina over Chuba Hubbard, in the opinion of Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com on Monday, June 8.
Huddle Up: Brooks has been injured for most of his NFL career thus far, missing all of last season recuperating from a torn ACL. If he can stay healthy, Brooks has a chance to be a real thorn in Chuba Hubbard's side for the lead back role in Carolina. Brooks is going to have a LOT of buzz this summer as a potential steal in the later rounds.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks was reportedly held out of team drills and scrimmage on Tuesday, as the team works to get him back to 100%, according to a source on Tuesday, June 2.
Huddle Up: After missing the entirety of the 2025 season, Injuries have derailed Brooks' career to date. He has managed just nine carries since being drafted in 2024. The Panthers let Rico Dowdle hit free agency, so behind starter Chuba Hubbard are Brooks and last season's Day 3 pick, Trevor Etienne. Brooks' recovery this summer could lead him to rise up fantasy draft boards with continued good news, so keep his name at the forefront this summer.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young had his fifth-year extension picked up, but the Panthers are reportedly talking through an extension and GM Dan Morgan will be in touch with Young's agent, according to an interview on NFL Network on Tuesday, May 12.
Huddle Up: Young has upped his touchdowns from 11 in his rookie season of 2023 to 23 last season in 2025. The Panthers were 8-8 in Young's 16 starts last season, and if Young can continue making steps, he'll be a solid fantasy quarterback. Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young had his fifth-year option exercised Wednesday, April 29.
Huddle Up: Young is coming off a terrific 2025 season and will remain with the Panthers for at least two more seasons. He will have a chance to improve his numbers this upcoming season but will still be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.
