Pittsburgh Steelers third-round pick QB Drew Allar will need to have his footwork refined by head coach Mike McCarthy, according to sources. "He's really got a good feel for what that takes," a team source said of McCarthy's touch in this area.

Penn State QB Drew Allar was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with 76th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Pittsburgh is still waiting to see if Aaron Rodgers will return next season, and in the meantime, they added Allar to the quarterback room. Allar's has the physical tools that teams look for in a quarterback, but he struggled with consistency in college. Still, his upside is worth taking a chance on in keeper formats in case he becomes the long-term answer for the Steelers.
