Updating previous reports, Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) was medically cleared to play in Week 4, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Huddle Up: That's an interesting revelation considering Watson didn't play. The Browns are on a bye this week, but one has to wonder how this situation will shake out in the next two weeks. Watson is a QB2 in fantasy at this point.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (arms, face) is active for Week 4's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: Njoku sustained burns to his face and arms during a household accident and had been listed as questionable on the injury report. He will be a popular target for QB Dorian Thompson-Watson this afternoon and can be viewed as a TE1 option in fantasy leagues.

Contrary to a previous report, Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) will not play in Week 4's game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to multiple sources. QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start in Watson's place.
Huddle Up: Watson had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging three limited practice sessions during the week but appears to have suffered a setback during pregame warmups. Thompson-Robinson will be making his first career NFL start and is not a recommended fantasy lineup option outside of two-quarterback and superflex leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) underwent successful surgery to repair his torn meniscus and MCL, but it was discovered during surgery that he'll also need surgery to repair his ACL, according to sources Saturday, Sept. 30. He's expected to recover in time to return during the 2024 season.
Huddle Up: This could very well add extra time to his recovery, and multi-ligament tears are more difficult to come back from. It isn't clear when the surgery will be, but this certainly lowers his value in dynasty leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (face, arm) was added to the injury report on Saturday, Sept. 30, after sustaining burns to his face and arm during a household accident. He's now listed as questionable.
Huddle Up: Njoku's quiet start to the season has him at TE28 overall through three games, making him a less-than viable starting option in all but the deepest of formats. If he doesn't suit up, Harrison Bryant and Jordan Akins would see an increase in action, but neither are suggested lineup options.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt (groin, ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 29, but is not on the injury report for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Hunt returned to the lineup last week and received seven touches and probably will receive a similar workload in Week 4. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues unless he becomes more involved in the passing game.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Ford has been very productive since taking over the starting job and will continue to see plenty of touches in the offense. He has become a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Watson should be available for the Week 4 game, but fantasy players can check the inactive list for his official status. He is coming off a terrific performance last week and can be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is listed as questionable on the final Week 4 injury report Friday, Sept. 29.
Huddle Up: Watson has been dealing with a sore throwing shoulder and barely got any throwing in at all during Friday's practice. Managers may want to be cautious about this situation considering the injury and tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Watson is likely a fringe QB1 option with limited upside if he's active.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 28.
Huddle Up: Ford should be able to handle his normal workload this week since he is a full participant in practice. He has played well since taking over the starting job and should be a starting option in all leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt (groin, ribs) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 28.
Huddle Up: Hunt seems to have a decent chance to play in the Week 4 game, but fantasy players will know more after the final practice of the week. He received seven touches in his season debut and likely will see a similar workload if he is active for the game this week. Fantasy players can consider keeping Hunt on the bench until he is more involved.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Huddle Up: Ford has played well since taking over as the starting running back and should continue to be a big part of the offense. He should be a starting option in all leagues if he is active for the Week 4 game.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if Watson is in any danger of missing the Week 4 game. He is coming off his best game of the season but probably can still be avoided in most standard leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Huddle Up: Cooper is coming off his first 100-yard game of the season and has 14 catches over the last two games. He will continue to be the main option in the passing game and will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt (ribs, groin) will not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Huddle Up: It isn't clear how serious Hunt's injuries are and what his chances are to play in Week 4 but he shouldn't be in lineups anyway until he produces. Jerome Ford is the Cleveland back to own and start moving forward.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford rushed 10 times for just 18 yards in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, but he posted his first career rushing touchdown. He also added two receptions for 33 yards and a score on three targets.
Huddle Up: The rushing totals were obviously not very good in his first start in place of the injured Nick Chubb, but fantasy managers have to love the two scores. Kareem Hunt didn't really do anything, either, while Pierre Strong actually led the Cleveland backfield with 27 rushing yards on six carries. Ford is still the top fantasy option in that Cleveland backfield, and he faces another tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 3.
Huddle Up: Njoku is off to a slow start to the season but has still been targeted seven times in two games. He should see a handful of targets this week and can be a low-end No. 1 tight end in most leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (groin, shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 22, but is not on the injury report for Week 3.
Huddle Up: Cooper was able to play in the last game despite the injury, so he should be able to handle his normal workload in Week 3. He has shown a good connection with Deshaun Watson and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt will get playing time in Week 3 against the Tennesse Titans, but he could be used in a limited role.
Huddle Up: It's likely best to keep Hunt on the bench this week. It's a tough matchup against a brutal Titans run defense, and Jerome Ford is expected to be the leader in the backfield. Hunt will eventually have flex appeal, but he shouldn't be in lineups this week.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (groin, shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 21.
Huddle Up: Cooper was able to play in the last game despite an injury and should be in uniform again for Week 3. He should see a good amount of targets against the Tennessee Titans and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 21.
Huddle Up: Njoku has caught six of his seven targets so far this season but only has 72 yards in two games. He will see a handful of targets this week and can still be a starting option in some leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (groin, shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Huddle Up: Cooper was able to play in Week 2 despite his groin injury, but fantasy players should keep an eye on his status during the week. He is the main option in the passing game for the Browns and can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues if active.

Free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Browns) agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million with the Cleveland Browns Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Huddle Up: Jerome Ford will probably be first in the pecking order, and he'll be a possible RB2 this week. Hunt will need some time to get acclimated, but he'll be a flex candidate in the near future.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) could potentially need two surgeries to address the knee injuries he suffered in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a source via Josina Anderson of CBS Sports. The first surgery could reportedly happen within the next seven to 10 days, while the second surgery would occur several weeks after.
Huddle Up: Chubb faces a long road to recovery, but the potential silver lining is that he tore three ligaments, a knee dislocation and suffered cartilage damage in the same knee in college during the 2015 season and was able to recover from that. There is some speculation that Chubb may need up to 15 months to recover, which is obviously bad news for a running back set to turn 28 years old in December. Chubb's workouts are the stuff of legend, so the fantasy world can only hope that his work ethic allows him to return to the field at some point in 2024. Cleveland will turn to Jerome Ford to fill the sizeable void he leaves behind.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford is expected to serve as the team's featured running back following the season-ending knee injury to Nick Chubb in Week 2, according to comments made by head coach Kevin Stefanski on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Huddle Up: As expected. Cleveland general manager Andrew Berry noted that the team will obviously look into external options, but it sounds as if Ford will get a chance to prove why the Browns were so high on him throughout the spring and summer. It would be a huge mistake for fantasy managers to have Chubb-like expectations for Ford, but the second-year back could not ask for much more in terms of a great environment for fantasy production (i.e. great offensive line and overall supporting cast, mobile quarterback, great defense, etc.). Ford is exactly the kind of waiver-wire add that fantasy managers should unload their FAAB for this week.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson won't be suspended for making contact with an official in Week 2, but he could be fined, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Watson is the QB16 in fantasy thus far and is only worth starting if you're covering an injury or are in a two-QB league.
