Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt has drawn the praise of former Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce. 'I think so, without a doubt,' Kelce said Saturday, June 15, when asked if he believes the Browns are getting the best version of Hunt. '... I think you guys are getting an unbelievable athlete, somebody who can change the game with one or two carries, one or two touches and really give you a chance to win.'
Huddle Up: Hunt is suspended for the first eight games of the season due to his personal-conduct violations, but he could be a factor late in the fantasy season while also serving as a potential spoiler for Nick Chubb and his fantasy owners. Don't bother, though, with trying to stash Hunt from the start of the season unless you have the bench spot to burn.

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry says the team's new offense will take some time to gel under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken, who has received some help recently from head coach Freddie Kitchens. 'Freddie has done a great job of monitoring, stepping in when he needs to step in,' Landry said Friday, June 14. 'Todd continues to teach us the way -- every guy is different as far as learning so continues to try to teach us. We kinda go from there. It's a new offense. There's a lot to learn. There's a lot of moving parts. It takes some time, not everything goes smoothly.'
Huddle Up: While most all of the arrows continue to point up in Cleveland, don't go too far overboard with the Browns' hype. As for Landry, value him as a low-end WR3 in standard leagues and bump him up slightly in PPR formats.

Cleveland Browns WR Antonio Callaway said he wants to post at least 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
Huddle Up: Callaway probably will be behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry in terms of targets this upcoming season but should still have a decent role in the passing game. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on him during the preseason because he could be a late-round option in some leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson is expected to play a 'significant' role in 2019, according to comments made by head coach Freddie Kitchens to Andrew Gribble of the team's website.
Huddle Up: It's not hard imagining Johnson playing roughly 30 percent of the snaps during the first half of the season when Nick Chubb is the only other notable back around, but it's going to be hard for him to contribute in a significant way once Kareem Hunt returns. The most likely outcome will be Cleveland dealing Johnson to a team around the trade deadline that either needs a running back or just lost one to injury. The odds are very high that he will not be on the Browns' roster next spring.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. reported to the team Monday, June 3, for the start of the mandatory minicamp this week, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Beckham missed most of the offseason workouts but should receive plenty of work with Baker Mayfield this week. He continues to be one of the best receivers in the NFL and should be a first- or second-round pick in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson reported to the team Monday, June 3, for the start of the mandatory minicamp this week, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Johnson has skipped the offseason workouts and is looking for a trade. He is a solid receiver out of the backfield and should be valuable in point-per-reception leagues depending on his role with a team.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. indicated that he will participate in the mandatory minicamp next week.
Huddle Up: Beckham has skipped a majority of the offseason workouts but is expected to be on the field with the rest of the team at minicamp. He will be in a new offense with the Browns but should continue to be one of the top receivers in the NFL. He likely will be selected in one of the first two rounds of all drafts.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson, who has not attended OTAs and has asked for a trade, is expected to attend mandatory minicamp, according to head coach Freddie Kitchens.
Huddle Up: Johnson's role diminished last year, but he's been an excellent receiving threat out of the backfield in the past. If it ends up being business as usual, he's a decent RB4 prospect in PPR formats. If he holds out or Cleveland parts ways with him, Dontrell Hilliard is a name to file away in PPR leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is missing 'a lot' while absent from organized team activities, according to head coach Freddie Kitchens.
Huddle Up: It's a soft complaint, but it's notable that Kitchens is making the public outcry. Either way, OBJ is an elite WR1 in fantasy. Where he slots in, however, is up for debate. He is a lot of flash and a lot of injury risk in a new setup.

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry (undisclosed) is expected to miss minicamp next week because of an undisclosed injury, according to head coach Freddie Kitchens. Kitchens said Landry's absence will be precautionary.
Huddle Up: It appears like Landry will be fine for training camp, and he likely will serve as the slot receiver for the Browns this season. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in standard leagues but should be more valuable in point-per-reception leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry (undisclosed) said he has been held out of spring practices because of a minor injury. 'Everything's going well, man,' Landry said. 'And then when I get my opportunity to go out there and practice, I will and it'll be back to normal and fun.'
Huddle Up: Landry should be a steady part of Cleveland's suddenly loaded passing attack, but his role out of the slot makes him more valuable in PPR formats. Still, he should be no worse than a WR3 in any league.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson missed voluntary OTAs for the second day in a row Wednesday, May 15.
Huddle Up: Johnson has shown in the past that he can be a valuable contributor in PPR leagues, but his role in the offense was inconsistent last year, and the Cleveland backfield is going to be crowded when Kareem Hunt returns from suspension. At best, Johnson is a RB4 in PPR formats in 2019.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson will participate in voluntary organized team activities Tuesday, May 14.
Huddle Up: Johnson is a useful PPR back, but his situation becomes dicey when Kareem Hunt returns from an eight-game suspension. Johnson is more of an RB4 if you can land him as such.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to report to the team's first organized team activities practice Tuesday, May 14.
Huddle Up: OBJ is an elite WR1 in fantasy, but the uncertainty of his new surroundings may keep him from being a top-three target in fantasy.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson remains with the team despite his desire to be traded, and coach Freddie Kitchens said Saturday, April 27, that's fine with him. 'Duke is under contract. I have said this for like a month now, I don't know where all this trade talk started happening,' Kitchens said. 'People just assumed that we are going to trade him because we signed another good football player. Me, personally, I like good football players and I like as many of them as we can get. Duke Johnson is on this football team, Duke Johnson will have a vital role in this football team and Duke Johnson will help us win football games. Am I surprised that he's still here? No, not one bit. I haven't wavered and never said anything different other than that.'
Huddle Up: The Free Duke Johnson movement hit a new fever pitch last season as their man had a career-low 87 touches, and despite Kitchens' optimism, it's hard to envision Johnson getting heavily involved with all the new weapons the Browns have added, most notably Odell Beckham Jr. and Kareem Hunt.

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry did not participate in the voluntary minicamp this week, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Landry should participate in the mandatory workouts this offseason and will be a solid contributor in the passing game in 2019. He probably will be more valuable in point-per-reception leagues but can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson is not participating in the voluntary minicamp this week, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Johnson has been looking for a trade and likely will skip all of the voluntary workouts if he is not traded. He likely will serve as the No. 2 running back while Kareem Hunt serves his suspension but probably would see a drop in playing time during the second half of the season. Johnson has value in point-per-reception leagues, but owners should monitor the situation this offseason.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson has not been present for offseason workouts this week, and general manager John Dorsey said he is not sure if Johnson will participate in the minicamp next week.
Huddle Up: Johnson has asked for a trade, but it appears like he will remain with the Browns. He likely will serve as the No. 2 running back for the Browns while Kareem Hunt is suspended and can be a solid receiver out of the backfield. He probably can be a No. 4 running back in point-per-reception leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb is likely to remain the starter in 2019 even after RB Kareem Hunt is eligible to return from his eight-game suspension, in the opinion of beat writer Scott Petrak. Chubb earned the team's trust with a strong rookie year, but Hunt could be the starter in 2020.
Huddle Up: Chubb will be an RB2 for the bulk of the fantasy season, and Hunt will need time to acclimate himself in the offense and kick rust off. It could be Week 10 before Hunt makes a considerable dent in Chubb's fantasy stock. Hunt is worth stashing as an RB5, but Chubb seems to be safe atop the pecking order.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson has been the subject of calls from teams exploring a possible trade, but the compensation offers haven't yet interested the Browns, who are determined to 'not just give him away.'
Huddle Up: Johnson has averaged only 133.5 touches per season in his four years in Cleveland, including a career-low 87 in 2018, and he clearly needs a fresh start if the Duke Johnson fantasy reality is ever going to come close to matching the hype.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson's representatives have asked the Browns to trade him, according to a source. Johnson did not attend voluntary workouts Monday, April 1, and the New York Jets, Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles have already shown interest in Johnson.
Huddle Up: Johnson and the Browns have seemingly been at odds since the addition of Kareem Hunt. Hunt is suspended for half the season, but Johnson still wants out. He has PPR RB3 upside or better depending on where he lands.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. reported to the team for the first day of offseason workouts Monday, April 1.
Huddle Up: In what has probably been a surprise to many, Beckham didn't seem to immediately embrace his trade from the Giants last month, so there was some question as to whether or not he would take his time to make an impression on his new employer. Owners should expect OBJ to get comfortable sometime before training camp, and if he does, he could be poised for a banner season with the best quarterback and supporting cast he's had in his career.

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson is staying put as the Browns have seemingly cooled on trade talks for their pass-catching running back. Head coach Freddie Kitchens said Johnson is a good football player and will have a role with the Browns.
Huddle Up: Johnson will be busy for at least half the season while Kareem Hunt is suspended. Look for him to continue his job as the pass-catching running back alongside Nick Chubb. As such, Johnson demands PPR RB3 attention in what is one of the most exciting offenses in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to show up for the start of Cleveland's offseason program Monday, April 1. Beckham had planned to end his offseason by April 15 before being traded to the Browns.
Huddle Up: It's important for Beckham, Baker Mayfield and the organization to get started on the right foot. Beckham will need to show up earlier than he anticipated, but the excitement is palpable between him and the Browns. Despite the presence of former college teammate Jarvis Landry, Beckham projects as a top WR1 in all formats.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt was suspended eight games Friday, March 15, for violating the personal conduct policy, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Hunt can still appeal the ruling, but he's gone for 75 percent of the fantasy season in a lot of leagues. You're really going to have to be lucky avoiding the injury bug if you're going to carry him as an RB5 all season. There is obvious risk of rust and obvious reward for the latter part of the season and playoffs. Nick Chubb will be an RB2 or RB3 in Hunt's stead.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt is likely facing a multiple-game disciplinary suspension, but Browns general manager John Dorsey said Thursday, March 14, he doesn't have any updated information on the specifics of the suspension. Dorsey did add that Hunt has been at the team's facilities and has been doing a 'great job.'
Huddle Up: Until we get clarity on the length of Hunt's ban, he'll be a late-round fantasy draft option who could pay off late next season.
