Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Njoku missed some practice time earlier in the week but is on track for his normal workload. He should be involved in the passing game this week and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in most leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Cooper is coming off a productive Week 3 game and will continue to be the main option in the passing game for the Browns. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 29.
Huddle Up: Cooper is starting to become a significant factor in the offense for the Browns and should see plenty of targets in Week 4. He can be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 29.
Huddle Up: Njoku being added to the injury report makes his status for Week 4 uncertain. He is coming off his best game of the season and can be a No. 1 tight end if he is active for the game.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 28.
Huddle Up: Cooper has posted back-to-back 100-yard games and is showing good chemistry with Jacoby Brissett. He can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett (undisclosed) was discharged from the hospital Monday, Sept. 26, with non-life-threatening injuries. Garrett's accident occurred when he swerved to miss an animal on a wet road, and his car flipped multiple times.
Huddle Up: Garrett sounds like he could miss some time, which hurts IDP owners of the DE1. Plan to replace him for at least the next week or two.

Cleveland Browns QB Jacoby Brissett (ankle) said he was bothered by an ankle injury during the fourth quarter of the Week 2 game but believes he will be able to play in Week 3.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: The Browns have a quick turnaround for their next game, so Brissett may not practice much over the new few days. He should have some success against the Pittsburgh Steelers but is still only a No. 2 quarterback in leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Njoku missed a practice earlier in the week but will see his normal workload in Week 2. He was quiet last week but could still be a low--end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Cooper had a disappointing start to the 2022 season last week but should be able to improve on his stats in Week 2. He should see a good amount of targets in the passing game and could be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in leagues.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 15.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Cooper will look to improve on the 17 yards he posted in Week 1. He should see a good amount of targets against the New York Jets and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 15.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Njoku should be available for the Week 2 game despite missing practice. He was targeted only one time in Week 1 but should see a bigger workload his week. He could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in some leagues but can also be benched if better options are available.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (personal) was excused from practice for a personal reason Thursday, Sept. 15.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Njoku surprisingly was uninvolved in the passing game in Week 1, getting out-targeted by fellow tight end Harrison Bryant 4-1. Head coach Kevin Stefanski praised his blocking, however. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues can hold if they want, but it will be difficult to justify a fantasy roster spot for him if he isn't going to be more of a priority in such a low-volume passing attack headed by Jacoby Brissett.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 14.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Cooper was targeted six times in Week 1 but was held to only 17 yards in the game. He will continue to see a good amount of targets in Week 2 but may only be a possible flex option in leagues.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson was suspended for 11 games and fined $5 million by the NFL, according to a source Thursday, Aug. 18. His first game back will be Week 13 against the Houston Texans.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Even though Watson avoided the full-year suspension, fantasy managers should avoid using a draft pick on him given the length of the suspension. He has QB1 upside when he does return, but it's a risky bet burning a bench spot for that long.

The NFL and NFLPA are negotiating a settlement for Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson and there is optimism a deal can be reached before designee Peter C. Harvey rules on the league's appeal of Watson's six-game suspension, according to sources on Tuesday, Aug. 16. The details of the negotiations were not revealed.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: One way or the other, Watson is looking at more than six games, and a full year ban is still very much on the table. Whether or not a settlement is enough to avoid such a suspension remains to be seen.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson completed one of his five passes for seven yards in a 24-13 preseason win over the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday, Aug. 12.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Watson's first action for the Browns was forgettable, but there aren't really questions about how he will perform on the field. The same cannot be said for his availability, and it remains to be seen if Watson will suit up at all this season.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is scheduled to be the starting quarterback for the first preseason game.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Watson's situation is still uncertain since the NFL has appealed his six-game suspension. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long he will sit out. He is a starting fantasy option when in uniform but is a risky option at this time.

Cleveland Browns TE Harrison Bryant "will have a pivotal role" in the team's offense in 2022, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Wednesday, Aug. 10.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Fowler also noted we should "expect to see plenty of two-tight-end sets" featuring Bryant and starter David Njoku. While Bryant's trajectory is pointing up, it's hard to trust a No. 2 tight end, especially when the guy in front of him just received a huge contract extension this offseason. Bryant figures to be a boom-or-bust TE3 at best, while Njoku should return TE2 value. However, both will be risky plays as long as Jacoby Brissett is under center in place of Deshaun Watson.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt participated in team drills on Sunday, Aug. 7, after not doing so in previous practices because of his desire for a new contract or trade.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Despite Hunt's demands, the Browns reportedly won't oblige, and his participation in practice on Sunday may mean he's accepted that fact. This situation still bears monitoring, but Hunt will be a borderline RB2 in a contract year.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt has requested a trade, according to a league source. However, the team reportedly has no interest in honoring that request.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Hunt is entering the final season of his current deal and had previously been seeking a contract extension but negotiations haven't been as productive as initially hoped. If he remains in Cleveland, he will be listed behind Nick Chubb on the depth chart, although he should have plenty of value as a flex option in PPR fantasy leagues on a consistent basis.

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson's six-game suspension has been appealed by the NFL, and the league will be looking for an indefinite suspension that would last at least one year, according to a source.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Watson's availability for the start of the season is uncertain at this time because of the appeal. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see when he will be able to play. He is a No. 1 fantasy quarterback when he plays but is a risky option.

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (ankle) missed practice Tuesday, Aug. 2, but is expected to return to practice "pretty soon," according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Cooper is a tough player to peg in fantasy this year because he will likely play nearly half of the season with Jacoby Brissett and the rest of it with Deshaun Watson. At least he figures to be the clear No. 1 option in the passing game for both passers. Until the Watson situation wraps up, Cooper is best viewed as a dicey WR3 with potential WR2 upside starting around November.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is expected to be suspended six games as parties were informed by Judge Sue Robinson Monday, Aug. 1. He would be eligible to play Oct. 23 against the Baltimore Ravens.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: There's still a chance of an appeal, but this has to be considered a win for the Watson camp as the rhetoric around the situation was he could miss the entire season. He's going to be a QB2 option in fantasy because of the games missed, which will now be a season-and-a-half.

Cleveland Browns WR David Bell (foot) was placed on the PUP list to begin training camp, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com on Friday, July 22.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Though the injury was deemed not serious and Bell should be practicing soon, this will be something to monitor if Bell winds up missing a solid chunk of camp. The rookie has a chance to make an immediate impact, but training camp injuries will make that difficult.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson has not been informed of any suspension at this point, but the Browns are bracing for Watson to receive an eight-game suspension, according to a source.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: Watson was expected to be suspended at some point, so his fantasy value will be affected in all leagues. He is a No. 1 quarterback when on the field, but fantasy players will need another good quarterback on the roster if they select Watson. Jacoby Brissett likely will start while Watson is out but can be avoided in most leagues.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson and his legal team have reportedly already made the decision to file a lawsuit against the NFL in federal court if he is handed a full-year suspension, according to Yahoo! Sports' Charles Robinson. Also per Charles Robinson, sources have suggested to him that arbitrator Sue Robinson may be taking her time with a decision in order to give the NFL and Watson another shot at settling.
SOURCE: Not available

Huddle Up: The longer the situation continues to play out, the more it appears that Watson is probably looking at a suspension no longer than eight games. Speaking strictly from a fantasy perspective, that kind of suspension would make Watson a strong QB2 option for fantasy managers with quarterbacks who have late bye weeks. A suspension in the four-to-six game range would make it more palatable for fantasy managers to play matchups early with the promise Watson could be their QB1 sometime in October.
