Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) will likely be a game-time decision in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols would share the load if B-Rob isn't able to go. Ekeler is a PPR RB2/flex candidate, and McNichols is a flex option if Robinson can't go.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (heel) was a full participant in practice on Thursday, Oct. 10, after being limited the day before.
Huddle Up: Ekeler remains behind Brian Robinson (knee) on the depth chart, but with Robinson not practicing over the first two days to start the week, there's a chance he doesn't play on Sunday. In that scenario, Ekeler is a strong RB2 play.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (heel) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Huddle Up: Ekeler returned to the lineup last week and posted nearly 100 total yards during the game. He will be involved in both the running and passing game in Week 6 if he plays and should be at least a flex option in all fantasy leagues.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Huddle Up: Robinson was able to play in the Week 5 game and probably will participate in practice at some point this week. He will share playing time with Austin Ekeler if active but can still be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Huddle Up: Ertz received a season-high eight targets in the last game but finished with only 10 yards. He has been held under 40 yards in four of the five games this season and probably is only a No. 2 fantasy tight end.

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz ended up with two receptions for 10 yards despite a game-high tying eight targets in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: Rookie QB Jayden Daniels looked for Ertz early and often, but they were unable to get on the same page. The catch total and yardage total were both season lows. He has been a decent TE2 in most leagues of 12 or more teams. He'll look to bounce back in Week 6 in Baltimore.

Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin ended up with four receptions for a game-high 112 yards on eight targets in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: Scary Terry has hit the century mark in two of his past three games, both against AFC North Division foes. Good news for fantasy managers, as the Commanders travel to meet the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. McLaurin has re-emerged as a quality low-end WR2 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols rushed seven times for 44 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, and he was not targeted in the pass game.
Huddle Up: The 28-year-old tailback is getting a chance at meaningful touches in the nation's capital, and he is taking advantage when his number is called. He has three rushing scores in the past two games. While he has had single-digit touches in each of those games, that could change if he continues to produce. Right now, he is worth a spot as a reserve in most redraft leagues, and he is worth starting in TD-only formats.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler ended up with six runs for 67 yards in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, while adding a pair of receptions for 30 yards on his two targets.
Huddle Up: Ekeler easily had his best fantasy production of the season. He is still just 29 years old, and he has plenty left in the tank. Ekeler is battling Brian Robinson Jr. and Jeremy McNichols for backfield touches. If he can outproduce Robinson and McNichols, he could re-emerge as a useful fantasy option. For now, he remains more of a low-end RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels completed 14-of-25 passes for 238 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, while posting game highs with 11 carries and 82 yards.
Huddle Up: Daniels was a lot more inaccurate than we saw in the first four games, but he still got the job done. He has emerged as a solid QB2 in all fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, with some upside. He is also a must-have in dynasty formats. The Commanders travel to meet the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) is active for Week 5's game against the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: Robinson had been listed as questionable on the injury report despite taking part in just one of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He could be deployed as a flex option in fantasy leagues this afternoon, although his workload might be slightly lower than normal.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.
Huddle Up: Ekeler is on track to play this week, and his workload will depend on the availability of Brian Robinson Jr. He should see a good amount of work even if Robinson plays and can be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for Robinson's official status, but the team is optimistic about his availability. He may not see his normal workload because of the injury but could still be a flex option if active.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) is trending in the right direction but is likely a game-time decision, head coach Dan Quinn told reporters Friday, Oct. 4.
Huddle Up: If Robinson is active, he should be in the starting lineup for managers. Austin Ekeler is a strong pivot option as a fringe RB2 if he's available while Jeremy McNichols could be viewed as a deep emergency start, but that brings a lot of risk.

Updating a previous report, Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) practiced in full on Thursday, Oct. 3, after being limited the day before.
Huddle Up: While he has yet to be officially cleared from the protocol, the full practice means Ekeler is trending toward returning. Meanwhile, Brian Robinson (knee) hasn't taken part in practice yet this week and looks like he won't suit up. If Ekeler is cleared and Robinson sits, the former is a strong RB2 in Week 5.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) practiced without his no-contact jersey on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Huddle Up: This news is even more notable considering Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) has logged consecutive DNPs to start the week. If he cannot practice again on Friday, Ekeler would likely be in line to start in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns if he can clear the league's concussion protocol over the next day or two. If Robinson sits and Ekeler plays, he should see enough work to be a solid RB2 option. Jeremy McNichols should be rostered as well, since it appears Washington could be without at least one of its top two backs.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) did not practice for a second consecutive day on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Huddle Up: Robinson will likely now need to get in some limited work on Friday to have a chance to play in Week 5 versus the Cleveland Browns. Austin Ekeler (concussion) appears to be trending in the right direction and would be a serviceable low-end fantasy RB2 as a running back in line for a fairly significant workload if he plays. Jeremy McNichols has a shot at being a decent flex option if Robinson sits and could be a great bye-week fill-in if both backs cannot play.

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Huddle Up: Ertz has caught 15 of his 16 targets this season but has been held to under 40 yards in three of his four games. He should see a few targets in Week 5 but probably is only a No. 2 tight end in most fantasy leagues.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) is trending in the right direction to play in Week 5, head coach Dan Quinn said on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Huddle Up: Ekeler was on pace to have a big game in Week 3 before his early exit, as he scored a touchdown and had two catches and 57 yards from scrimmage. He's on the flex radar entering Week 5.

Washington Commanders WR Olamide Zaccheaus caught six passes for a team-high 85 yards in a 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4.
Huddle Up: Zaccheaus entered the game with four catches for 29 yards, so his performance against the Cardinals could certainly be an outlier. However, Washington is searching for a No. 2 option behind Terry McLaurin, so Zaccheaus is worth watching in the coming weeks.

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz caught all three of his targets for 22 yards in a 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4.
Huddle Up: Ertz has a steady role in the offense, but he is limited to short, underneath routes. Despite his lack of upside, the tight end position is thin enough to give Ertz some streaming potential as bye weeks begin.

Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin caught seven of his 10 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in a 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4.
Huddle Up: McLaurin has scored in back-to-back games, and he and Jayden Daniels seem to be finding a comfort level. If Daniels continues to impress, McLaurin should be a WR3 with WR2 upside moving forward.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols rushed eight times for 68 yards and two touchdowns and caugt a six-yard pass in a 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4.
Huddle Up: McNichols served as a the backup to Brian Robinson Jr. with Austin Ekeler sidelined, and McNichols certainly made the most of the opportunity. Despite the strong showing, McNichols is unlikely to have a role once Ekeler is ready to return.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels completed 26 of his 30 passes for 233 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. He also rushed eight times for 47 yards and another score.
Huddle Up: Not only does Daniels appear to be the best rookie quarterback through the first four games, but he looks like a weekly QB1 option.

Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 27, and has been ruled out for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Brian Robinson Jr. will receive most of the snaps at running back against the Arizona Cardinals and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Huddle Up: Ertz has caught 12 of his 13 targets this season but has posted over 40 yards in only one of the three games. He should see a handful of targets against the Arizona Cardinals but probably can be avoided in most leagues.
