Huddle Up: Beck is expected to compete with Jacoby Brissett for the starting job for the Cardinals in training camp. Brissett is favored to win it, so fantasy players shouldn't be looking to get much out of any Beck shares at this point.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is heading into Year 3 after two mostly underwhelming seasons. He jelled nicely with QB Jacoby Brissett, who could be the starting quarterback in 2025, but it's possible he has to work with journeyman QB Gardner Minshew or rookie QB Carson Beck, which could stunt his growth.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers in keeper formats who are patiently waiting for Harrison to break out face the prospect of the receiver working with yet another new quarterback, which is certainly not optimal. The good news is that he will be working in the offensive-minded system of new head coach Jonathan Gannon. For now, though, it's wait-and-see, and patience is starting to wear thin.

Huddle Up: Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation, but Beck should not have much fantasy value during his rookie season and can be avoided. He had a chance to become a valuable option in a few years if he takes over as the starter.

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Beck might take a backseat in his rookie season, sitting and learning. Head coach Mike LaFleur said Sunday, May 3, that "it won't be the worst thing for him" if Beck ends up sitting for part or all of his rookie season. "It benefits anyone in any position to be able to sit back," LaFleur said. "Sometimes, guys don't have the choice because you have to put your best 22 out on the field there."
Huddle Up: Assuming Jacoby Brissett's contract situation is ironed out, the rookie Beck will be behind Brissett and veteran Gardner Minshew in the quarterback's room. There is very little reason to pay Beck any mind in redraft fantasy leagues, and his long-term viability in keeper formats is a little murky. He is a bit on the older side for a rookie at 23, and he'll turn 24 in November. Keep that in mind, too.

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Beck's experience in "big-game environments" was one of the reasons the Cardinals drafted him, according to general manager Monti Ossenfort. "I think when you see a player who has had big-game experience, when you make this transition to the NFL, there's more hope that it's not going to be too big for them, right?" Ossenfort said.
Huddle Up: While Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew both have starting experience, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Beck make some appearances as a rookie, especially if the Cardinals aren't in the playoff hunt late in the season. He is far from a lock to be the Arizona's quarterback of the future, but he could be worth stashing in dynasty formats.
