Atlanta Falcons LB James Pearce Jr. is being suspended for eight regular-season games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Atlanta Falcons EDGE James Pearce Jr. will begin a six-month intervention program, allowing him to avoid trial on felony charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing police and resisting arrest, along with misdemeanor stalking, his attorney said.
