Los Angeles Rams RB Jarquez Hunter was active for just five games in 2025, and the fourth-round pick did not see an offensive snap. The outlook isn't much better in 2026 with the team happy with RBs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum at the top of the depth chart. Hunter is expected to battle veteran RB Ronnie Rivers for the third spot on the depth chart.

Los Angeles Rams RB Jarquez Hunter rushed for 14 yards on seven carries during the preseason game against the Cleveland Browns Saturday, Aug. 23.
Huddle Up: Hunter will probably be the No. 3 running back for the Rams this season and will see a limited workload early in the season. Fantasy players in most leagues can avoid him for the time being, but he could have more value as the season goes on.

Los Angeles Rams RB Jarquez Hunter will likely start the season as the team's No. 3 running back but should receive some playing time as a change of pace back, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Sarah Barshop.
Huddle Up: Hunter probably will see a limited workload early in the season but could earn a bigger role as the season goes on. He will not be a starting option most weeks, but fantasy players with room in their bench can consider adding him to their roster.

Los Angeles Rams RB Jarquez Hunter will benefit from more touches, according to offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur. "The more opportunities he gets, the better it's going to be."
Huddle Up: Hunter has been billed as a threat in the passing game, which could move him ahead of Blake Corum when it comes to spelling Kyren Williams. Hunter's role is worth watching, and he could become a worthwhile handcuff.

Los Angeles Rams RB Jarquez Hunter saw some time with the first team Monday, July 28. Head coach Sean McVay said Hunter "is continuing to see improvement".
Huddle Up: Hunter is a player worth monitoring, as he is just an injury or two away from a meaningful role in the offense. Still, as long as Kyren Williams and Blake Corum remain healthy, Hunter's fantasy appeal will be limited to deeper leagues and dynasty formats.

Los Angeles Rams fourth-round pick RB Jarquez Hunter was eighth in FBS last season with 42 explosive rushes. He had the second-highest explosive rush rate (10+ yards) among FBS backs with more than 150 carries last year.
Huddle Up: The Rams had the fourth-fewest explosive rushes last year, and you can see why they traded up to get Hunter. He'll have to usurp Blake Corum, but he adds an element the team could use. He's an RB5 flyer in deep leagues for now.
