New York Jets HC Aaron Glenn has high expectations and thinks a big step is coming in the dveelopment of TE Mason Taylor in 2026.
Huddle Up: Taylor finished as the TE28 in PPR last season so he has the room to improve. Quarterback Geno Smith targeted tight end Brock Bowers a lot during his time with the Raiders so there could be a boost coming Taylor's way. However, fantasy players shouldn't be quick to pounce on any shares quite yet.

New York Jets TE Mason Taylor (neck) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Jan. 3.
Huddle Up: Taylor played well at times this season and will likely enter the offseason as the leading candidate for the tight end job next season. He should have a decent role in the passing game but will probably be a No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues.

New York Jets TE Mason Taylor (neck) has 44 receptions this season, and he will end up as the team's top receiver despite missing his fourth consecutive game in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Taylor ended up with what will be a team-leading 44 receptions on 65 targets with 369 yards and one touchdown in his rookie season. He was limited to 13 games, and he led the team because WR Garrett Wilson missed a good chunk of the season due to injuries himself. However, Taylor looks like a valuable cog in the Jets' offense going forward. In long-term dynasty leagues he is a strong option. He'll be worth a look as a flyer in the late rounds on draft day in 2026, as he has a lot of upside. Hopefully the Jets have an upgrade at the QB position to further unlock his skills.

New York Jets TE Mason Taylor (neck) won't play in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Taylor emerged as a reliable receiving target at the tight end spot for the Jets in 2025. How his neck heals will determine his exact placement among tight ends in the 2026 ranks.
