San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (shoulder) was able to return to practice Sunday, Aug. 23, although he was donning a non-contact jersey. He was forced to miss practice Saturday as a result of the ailment.
Huddle Up: Stribling's fantasy stock has been on the rise all throughout training camp and the preseason, with some talking heads opining that he could end up as the No. 1 receiver option, even ahead of Mike Evans. Let's pump the brakes until we start seeing production in meaningful games, but the upside is certainly there. He is worth scooping up on draft day in the middle rounds in all leagues for his potential, and he is obviously a must-have in long-term keeper formats.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (shoulder) and CB Deommodore Lenoir (shoulder) are both day-to-day with their injuries, according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 22.
Huddle Up: The hype train for Stribling has been running full steam ahead for weeks, so hopefully this injury isn't something that can derail him. Stribling has a real opportunity to see meaningful time on offense with plenty of injuries across the 49ers' offensive skill position players. Think of Stribling as a middle-round sleeper with a wide range of outcomes this season, but one worth taking a shot on in a good San Francisco 49ers offense for fantasy football.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling caught four of his five targets for 46 yards during the preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday, Aug. 20.
Huddle Up: The hype has been building around Stribling throughout the offseason, and his solid showing Thursday will add fuel to the fire. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him carve out a role in the offense sooner rather than later, and Stribling seems well worth a flier in the later rounds.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (hamstring) was back at practice Saturday, Aug. 8, and he was able to catch balls from multiple quarterbacks on multiple routes, making several splash plays. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Stribling has been picking things up in a hurry.
Huddle Up: With Ricky Pearsall recovering from knee surgery to repair a posterior cruciate ligament, the door is open for the rookie Stribling to secure a meaningful role in the offense. Veterans Mike Evans and Christian Kirk are expected to start, and Deebo Samuel is back, and obviously knows the offense well. But, it could be argued that Stribling has the most upside of all of those players. Stribling should be considered as a WR5 with upside, worthy of fantasy consideration in redraft leagues. He has much more value in long-term dynasty formats, however.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (hamstring) is back at practice on Thursday, Aug. 6. He has not practiced since Saturday.
Huddle Up: Stribling has a chance, if he is healthy, to step up and become the 49ers' WR2 with Ricky Pearsall out for the year. If he steps into that role through camp, he could be an interesting WR3 or flex option in lineups.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (hamstring) will not participate in practice Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Huddle Up: Stribling is dealing with a soft tissue injury, so the team is unlikely to rush his recovery with the regular season over a month away. Stribling in line for a bigger role with Ricky Pearsall out for the season and can be a late round pick in fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling is having a "strong start" to training camp, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner, who writes that the rookie "offers a size and speed element the Niners have lacked." Stribling is lining up in multiple spots, and Wagoner suggests that he could operate as a "supercharged, oversize slot receiver."
Huddle Up: While you can only glean so much until the games start to matter, the loss of Ricky Pearsall (knee) has created a void in the 49ers' receiver room. Mike Evans is locked in, but after that little is known, even as it relates to veterans like Christian Kirk and Deebo Samuel. If Stribling can claim one of the top three jobs, he becomes someone with intriguing potential. Continue to monitor San Francisco's depth chart over the coming weeks.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (hamstring) is considered day-to-day because of a hamstring injury.
Huddle Up: The team will likely be cautious with Stribling because of the type of injury, so fantasy players can check on his status later this week or next week. He is in line for a bigger role this season with Ricky Pearsall not available and could be a late round pick in deeper leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling (hamstring) was held out of today's training camp practice due to hamstring tightness, according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Huddle Up: Stribling has a chance to capitalize on multiple injuries in training camp, including a season-ending injury to Ricky Pearsall. For Stribling, you have to be on the field to do that, and hopefully this is just a minor blip on the radar. Consider Stribling a late-round pick with upside in fantasy football drafts this summer.

San Francisco 49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling is "making the most" of his opportunities while WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) and WR Christian Kirk (calf) are sidelined, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: While it remains to be seen if Stribling will carve out a steady role as a rookie, a fast start to training camp certainly won't hurt his chances. If Pearsall's knee continues to be an issue, Stribling becomes a lot more intriguing as a late-round swing.
