New York Jets QB Cade Klubnik (ankle, wrist) struggled with a sprained right ankle and wrist injury in his final season at Clemson, and with his play suffering, his draft stock took a nosedive. But, Klubnik remains confident heading into his rookie season. "In my mind, I'm a winner," Klubnik said Saturday at rookie minicamp. "I don't mean that in a boastful way. I think that's the mentality you have to have as a quarterback, and I think that my resume has kind of showed that as well."
Huddle Up: Klubnik headed into the 2025 expected to be one of college football's top quarterbacks, but it was a poor season wrought with losing and injuries. He is expected to sit behind veteran Geno Smith in 2026, but if things do not go according to plan, Klubnik could potentially see some playing time if the Jets struggle. For fantasy purposes, avoid the rookie for now, but know that, once healthy, he has a big chip on his shoulder and a lot to prove. He could be a steal for the Jets and fantasy managers in long-term keeper formats.

Huddle Up: Klubnik holds the school record for most completions thrown in Clemson history and had an impressive showing this spring at the East-West Shrine Bowl. He will battle Brady Cook and Bailey Zappe for the Jets' No. 2 quarterback job behind Geno Smith.
