Kansas City Chiefs WR Cyrus Allen (shin) returned to practice on Friday, Aug. 7.
Huddle Up: Allen being back in practice so quickly is a good sign of things, but he remains an uphill battle to earn meaningful work. The Chiefs' offense has Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Travis Kelce all still ahead of him as receiving targets, so some things need to go his way the rest of camp to be worth investing in for the 2026 fantasy season.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Cyrus Allen (shin) returned to practice Friday, Aug. 7.
Huddle Up: Allen has been one of the training camp standouts as the rookie appears to have earned QB Patrick Mahomes' trust. They have a ton of questions at receiver, and Allen could wind up in the WR3 role before the season begins. Take him as a WR5 flyer in fantasy.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Cyrus Allen's tests revealed a bone bruise and he's considered 'day-to-day', according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Huddle Up: Allen, an early standout at Chiefs' camp, avoided major injury and should be back in a few days to Chiefs' camp. He's one of several receivers vying for opportunities this season, but it's much to early to project Allen for anything right now. Keep tabs on him during camp to see if he can snag a meaningful role as a pass-catcher, but Allen is not worthy of being drafted in fantasy football just yet.
