New Orleans Saints WR Barion Brown has impressed in one-on-one drills, and head coach Kellen Moore believes Brown can be more than just a kick returner. "We watched a lot of evidence of him playing receiver and playing impactful plays in the SEC for a number of years, not just the LSU year, but the Kentucky years," Moore said. "And when you watch all that exposure and get to know Barion, you're really fired up to have this guy."

New Orleans Saints WR Barion Brown made some nice catches at rookie minicamp, and head coach Kellen Moore said that the team views him as more of just a kick-return specialist. "He's had a lot of success at receiver and so we certainly see that vision for him in addition to the return game that obviously everyone knows," Moore said.
Huddle Up: Brown has tremendous competition, as he was the third receiver drafted into a crowded room. Fantasy managers won't want to pay him any mind outside the very, very deepest keeper leagues, and even that might be a stretch. For now, it might take several injuries to open up a prominent role.

New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore told the media on Friday, May 8, that WR Barion Brown "is a receiver as well not just a returner."
Huddle Up: Brown could have a chance to expand his role in the Saints' offense as their explosive play option. He shouldn't be drafted in redraft, but he is an interesting player to keep tabs on in dynasty or to take a late-round flier on and stash.
