Baltimore Ravens TE Matthew Hibner was a player the organization really liked, and it made a rare move, trading up 21 spots to get him in the 2026 NFL Draft. "For (Hibner), we actually traded up 21 spots to get him. That's rare for us, but we saw great value," general manager Eric DeCosta said. "He's athletic and productive. We gave up a future sixth-round pick and felt it was worth it to move from the fifth to the fourth round."
Huddle Up: The team likes Hibner's athleticism and production, and hope he adds versatility to the new offense of coordinator Declan Doyle. He likely will be quickly brought along to fill the role of the departed Isaiah Likely and/or Charlie Kolar, working behind Mark Andrews. Don't go out and draft Hibner, but file his name away and watch him closely during training camp into the preseason.

Southern Methodist University TE Matthew Hibner met with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints Sunday, March 22, in advance of his college's Pro Day Monday, March 23. Saints assistant tight ends coach Josh Hill was present at his workout, along with Cowboys passing game specialist Ken Dorsey and college scouting coordinator Chris Hall.
