Houston Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (hip) missed practice Sunday, Aug. 9, due to a strained hip flexor, according to league sources. The team is hopeful he'll be able to return in about a week. Jordan has reportedly had a strong camp, as he battles RB Noah Whittington for the No. 3 job behind new starter RB David Montgomery and primary backup RB Woody Marks.

Houston Texans RB Noah Whittington (toe) participated in the rookie minicamp and is nearly fully recovered from offseason toe surgery, according to a source.

Updating previous reports, undrafted free-agent RB Josh Pitsenberger (Yale), WR Treyvhon Saunders (Colgate), WR Daniel Sobkowicz (Illinois State), WR Jalen Walthall (Incarnate Word) and RB Noah Whittington (Oregon) officially signed with the Houston Texans Friday, May 8. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

Oregon RB Noah Whittington (toe) is scheduled to work out in front of teams Thursday, April 16, according to sources. Whittington did not participate at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine because of turf toe surgery.
