Free-agent RB D'Onta Foreman (Bears) has agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns, per sources on Wednesday, March 20. The terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.
Huddle Up: Foreman is an effective back when given opportunities, but he's not very good in the passing game and it remains to be seen how much work he'll be able to get in 2024. The Browns have Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford, with Chubb coming back from a torn MCL. Foreman's value will be dependent upon Chubb's status, but even if the veteran back isn't ready to start the season, Foreman will be in a timeshare, at best, with Ford. He's someone to keep an eye on as a late-round stash in re-draft leagues.

Chicago Bears RB D'Onta Foreman has been declared inactive for the Week 17 game.
Huddle Up: It seems like Foreman is a healthy scratch, so Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson will share playing time against the Atlanta Falcons. Herbert has more fantasy value and should be a starting option, but Johnson will receive some touches and could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.

Chicago Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (personal) practiced in full on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Huddle Up: Foreman sat out last week's game due to a personal issue and Khalil Herbert went off in his absence. Herbert figures to lead the backfield in Week 17, but the Bears could also deploy a committee. Regardless, Foreman shouldn't be in lineups in Week 17.

Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet (knee), WR Darnell Mooney (concussion) and OL Lucas Patrick (knee) did not practice on Wednesday, Dec. 27. In addition, RB D'Onta Foreman (personal), OL Teven Jenkins (concussion), LB Noah Sewell (knee) and WR Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral) were full participants.

Chicago Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (non-injury) is not expected to play in Week 16's game against the Arizona Cardinals because of a personal matter.
Huddle Up: Foreman had been listed as questionable on the injury report after missing practice Thursday, Dec. 21, and being a limited participant Friday, Dec. 22. He is not a recommended fantasy option this week because he would be part of a committee at running back even if he did suit up for the game.
