Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4.
Huddle Up: Hunt was the leading rusher for the Chiefs in the last game and probably will see a good amount of touches again this week. He can be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (shoulder) was limited at practice on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Huddle Up: There's no real concern yet for Hunt, as it's only the first practice of the week and he was still able to get in a limited session. Hunt has quickly seized the role of lead back in Kansas City after logging 16 touches and 85 yards from scrimmage. He's a borderline RB2 entering Week 5.

Kansas City Chiefs DE Michael Danna (calf), RB Kareem Hunt (shoulder) and WR Mecole Hardman (knee) were limited at practice on Thursday, Oct. 3. Also, LB Nick Bolton (hamstring) and DT Derrick Nnadi (triceps) practiced in full.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed 14 times for a team-high 69 yards and caught two passes for 16 yards in a 17-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.
Huddle Up: After Carson Steele lost an early fumble, Hunt assumed the lead back role and delivered a solid performance. Hunt should be one of the top waiver adds ahead of Week 5.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt was signed to the active roster from the practice squad, and RB Keaontay Ingram was released Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Huddle Up: Hunt now joins the backfield with Carson Steele and Samaje Perine. It's likely to be a heavy rotation with Steele working on early downs and Perine on passing downs. Where Hunt fits in isn't yet clear so it's best to temper expectations until the splits are revealed. Steele is an RB3 while Perine and Hunt can be viewed as RB4 types.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt will not play in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Huddle Up: Hunt was just added to the practice squad on Tuesday and has not played football in about eight or nine months. There is a decent chance he will join the active roster at some point next week, but there is no guarantee he will find his way into significant snaps anytime soon.

Kansas City Chiefs LB Cole Christiansen and RB Keaontay Ingram were promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Also, free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Browns) and TE Peyton Hendershot (Chiefs) were signed to the practice squad.

Free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Browns) will reportedly join the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source.
Huddle Up: It makes sense from a depth perspective, but the 29-year-old Hunt has not been a good running back in either of the last two seasons behind what was a good offensive line in Cleveland. While he is unlikely to be ready to play in Week 3, Hunt's eventual addition to the active roster likely robs every other healthy back in Kansas City (Carson Steele and Samaje Perine, most notably) of any fantasy value they had as a result of Isiah Pacheco's likely stint on injured reserve.

Free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Browns) has a visit with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday, Sept. 17, according to sources.
Huddle Up: With Isiah Pacheco expected to miss up to two months, Hunt could provide some RB3 value if he takes the lead role in Kansas City.
