Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed for 14 yards on five carries in Week 18 versus the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: Hunts was effective - albeit touchdown-dependent - in fantasy for most of the season, but ball security was about the only thing he has offered the offense for the last two seasons. Kansas City desperately needs to upgrade the running back position before the start of next season, so this game might have been the final one for Hunt in a Chiefs uniform. He might be worth a last-round pick in best-ball drafts this spring, but he carries virtually no fantasy value heading into the offseason.

Kansas City Chiefs OG Trey Smith (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and has been ruled out for Week 18. TE Jake Briningstool (hamstring) fully participated in practice but has been ruled out. WR Xavier Worthy (illness) did not practice and is listed as doubtful. DT Jerry Tillery (non-injury) did not practice and is listed as questionable. DE George Karlaftis (non-injury), RB Isiah Pacheco (non-injury) and OT Jaylon Moore (knee) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. RB Kareem Hunt (illness), CB Kristian Fulton (knee, wrist), LS James Winchester (illness) and DT Derrick Nnadi (illness) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Hunt will have a role in the offense and could see most of the work at running back if Isiah Pacheco is not active for the game. Hunt can be a flex option in fantasy leagues if he sees most of the carries during the game.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (illness) did not practice Thursday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Hunt has now missed a pair of practices due to illness, and with the little to play for in the season finale, the Chiefs may just decide to rest Hunt. If he plays, he is a low-end, touchdown-dependent flex option.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Huddle Up: Hunt has a few days to return to full strength, but the Chiefs don't exactly have much to play for in the finale. If Hunt does suit up, he will be a low-end, touchdown-dependent flex option.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed for 38 yards on seven carries in a 20-13 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 17.
Huddle Up: Hunt has been held below 40 rushing yards in four straight games, and he has been held out of the end zone in three straight contests. The Chiefs offense has been struggling in general over that same stretch, and with Chris Oladokun now at quarterback, Hunt's value is at a season low.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed three times for just two yards in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans, and he was not targeted in the passing game.
Huddle Up: What a disaster for fantasy managers who might have rolled the dice on Hunt, the goal-line specialist, as Isiah Pacheco saw nearly all of the touches out of the backfield. With the Chiefs down to the third-string QB heading into Week 17, it's probably a good idea to get away from all of their offensive players for fantasy purposes.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed six times for just 12 yards in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers, he tacked an 8-yard reception on two targets.
Huddle Up: Hunt has managed just 18 carries for 42 yards in the past two games, but he has salvaged fantasy lines lately with his work scoring touchdowns near the goal line. Fantasy managers weren't as fortunate in Week 15, as he was blanked for just the second time in the past seven games. He remains more of a RB3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 16.
