Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt ran 16 times for 46 yards in Week 3 against the Washington Football Team and he added two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown on three targets.
Huddle Up: Hunt saw 18 total touches to 20 for Nick Chubb. Yeah, it would be nice if you own one or the other if they were the workhorse, and not having to split carries, but it's working in Cleveland for both. Hunt remains a solid low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option heading into Dallas in Week 4.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt gained 86 yards on 10 carries and scored against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2. Hunt also caught two passes for 15 yards and a touchdown.
Huddle Up: Watching Nick Chubb and Hunt slice through the Bengals defense had to put a smile on Kevin Stefanski's face, allowing him to control the game and keep Baker Mayfield in a complementary role. That was the formula in Minnesota, ride the run game and don't ask too much of your quarterback unless you have to. If that's the direction Stefanski is headed, Hunt could have significant season-long value.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt had game highs with 13 rushes and 72 yards in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens and he added four receptions for nine yards.
Huddle Up: The game ended up being a blowout, so the workload was a bit skewed. Nick Chubb averaged 6.0 yards per carry and he'll be counted upon more in the future. The Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 on Thursday night.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension worth $13.25 million - including $8.5 million guaranteed - to remain with the team through the end of the 2022 season on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Huddle Up: It's a sizable chunk of change for a "backup" running back, which indicates he will be sticking around to drive the dynasty owners of Nick Chubb crazy. Hunt's exact role for the 2020 Browns isn't quite clear, but he is expected to handle roughly 30 percent of the rushing workload and serve as the primary option out of the backfield on passing downs. It should be enough to make Hunt a very good flex option, if not low-end RB2, and he carries league-winning upside should Chubb miss significant time.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt participated in some of the receiver meetings this offseason, according to wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea.
Huddle Up: Hunt was a solid part of the passing game last season but is not known if he would line up at receiver this season. He should be involved as a pass catcher again in 2020 and could also see a handful of carries in the passing game. He has a chance to be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt said he wants to win and is willing to handle any role the team asks him to this upcoming season.
Huddle Up: Hunt likely will be used as more of a receiver out of the backfield but should also receive some carries in the running game. He can be a flex option in most fantasy leagues this upcoming season since the Browns should have an improved offense.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt's role in the offense will grow in 2020, according to offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt Wednesday, June 3. 'We have to find a way to put the best players on the field and the matchups that will come with that each week. Kareem is an extremely talented runner as a running back, and he is exceptional out of the backfield (as a receiver). He is fearless, and the selflessness of him blocking and lead blocking, he is just a football player who loves to play. We have to find ways to get him the ball.'
Huddle Up: Hunt, the 2017 rushing champ, totaled 464 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in eight games after returning from suspension. He worked mostly as the backup to RB Nick Chubb. Despite playing half as many games, Hunt (44) finished with just five fewer targets than Chubb (49) and had more receiving yards. Look for Hunt to get the majority of third-down work in 2020, which could limit Chubb's upside.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt ranked sixth among running backs with 44 targets from Week 10 until the end of the 2019 regular season. Additionally, Hunt's 49 slot snaps also ranked sixth among running backs in the league for the year despite playing only eight games.

Cleveland Browns RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt probably will be on the field at the same time on occasion this upcoming season, in the opinion of The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot.
Huddle Up: Chubb will continue to receive most of the work at running back this upcoming season, but Hunt was a solid receiver out of the backfield in 2019. Chubb should be a No. 1 running back in fantasy leagues, while Hunt can be a flex option in most leagues and likely will be more valuable in point-per-reception leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt has forced 123 missed tackles on running attempts since 2017 - the second-highest total in the league over that span.
Huddle Up: It's an extraordinary number considering Hunt has missed 13 games in the last two seasons. It's anyone's guess as to whether or not new head coach Kevin Stefanski will pick up where his predecessor (Freddie Kitchens) left off in terms of how Cleveland split the backfield usage between Nick Chubb and Hunt once the latter returned from his suspension. If Stefanski doesn't change something that seemed to work so well in 2019, Hunt would be a strong flex option and could have sneaky RB2 upside.
