San Francisco 49ers RB Jeremy McNichols is running with the first-team Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Huddle Up: He's still behind injured Jerick McKinnon (knee) and Matt Breida (shoulder), but he appears entrenched at No. 3. If the aforementioned injuries linger, McNichols could be a good stash option.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jeremy McNichols (shoulder) passed his physical Wednesday, July 26, and was cleared for training camp.
Huddle Up: The fifth-round pick could have an opening with Doug Martin suspended in the early going. However, he'll have to stand out in camp. He's someone to watch for a late-round flyer in fantasy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jeremy McNichols is a 'very well-rounded
guy' with 'three-down value,' according to general manager Jason
Licht, and Licht also praised McNichols for his pass protection.
Huddle Up: With Doug Martin serving a suspension to start the year,
McNichols could become a sneaky sleeper, especially in PPR
formats. He is worth a flier in the final rounds of drafts.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jeremy McNichols (shoulder) had surgery
on a torn labrum after the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine but should
be ready for the start of training camp, according to head coach
Huddle Up: With Doug Martin serving a suspension, McNichols will have a
chance to stake his claim to a role early in the year. He
probably won't overtake Martin, but becoming the third-down back
isn't out of the question. McNichols could be a sneaky late-round
pick in PPR formats.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Boise State RB Jeremy McNichols
with the No. 162 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft Saturday,
Huddle Up: McNichols was highly productive at Boise State and brings an
electric style to the Buccaneers. Doug Martin's future is in
question, but this backfield has ample talent that presumably
will begin ahead of McNichols. The rookie probably will play a
special teams role in 2017, barring injuries around him, and
attempt to earn a spot in 2018's backfield rotation.
