Updating a previous report, Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols' one-year, $1.487 million contract includes a $162,500 signing bonus with $562,500 total guaranteed and a 2026 base salary of $1.3 million.
Huddle Up: In what is now a loaded backfield in Washington with Rachaad White, Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jerome Ford. McNichols ran for 5.0 yards per carry last season on 44 carries. He's been a solid depth back and for fantasy purposes, that means we'll pass on him in drafts.

Free-agent RB Jeremy McNichols (Commanders) agreed to a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders Monday, March 16. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Huddle Up: Their backfield is crowded with Rachaad White, Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jerome Ford. McNichols ran for 5.0 yards per carry last season, but at age 30, it's going to be hard for him to carve out a role. Pass in drafts for now.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols, a free-agent-to-be, had just one carry for three yards in Week 18 against the Philadelphia Eagles, while adding a single 8-yard reception on his only target.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols caught three passes for 12 yards on three targets against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17. He also rushed for negative two yards on one carry during the game.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols rushed nine times for six yards and caught one pass for 16 yards in a 29-21 win over the New York Giants in Week 15.
Huddle Up: Although McNichols saw 10 total touches, it was Jacory Croskey-Merritt who led the backfield with Chris Rodriguez Jr. sidelined. Even if Rodriguez misses more time, McNichols is unlikely to be a reliable option for fantasy owners.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols didn't have a rushing attempt in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings, while posting a 2-yard catch on his lone target.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols had six carries for 30 yards against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. He also had two receptions for zero yards.
Huddle Up: McNichols and Jacory Croskey-Merritt are currently splitting time behind Chris Rodriguez, Jr. in Washington's committee backfield. The third-down back has flashed when given the chance -- he's averaging 6.6 yards per carry and 8.8 yards per reception on the year -- but until he starts getting more touches he's not cracking fantasy lineups.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols rushed for 13 yards on four carries against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. He also caught two passes for 16 yards during the game.

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols rushed five times for 25 yards and caught one pass for four yards in a 44-22 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 10.
Huddle Up: The five carries were a season high for McNichols, and he was the only Washington running back to catch a pass. McNichols' main role has been as the third-down back for Washington, but he will likely need an injury to either Chris Rodriguez Jr. or Jacory Croskey-Merritt to be worth considering as a fantasy starter. In the meantime, McNichols can be stashed as a RB5 in PPR formats.
