New England Patriots RB Sony Michel rushed for 33 yards on 10 carries and added two receptions for 11 yards in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Huddle Up: Same story, different week for his fantasy owners. Michel has been a touchdown-dependent RB2 for most of the season, but he has been nearly unusable whenever Rex Burkhead has been active. Owners should consider other alternatives in Week 12 when the Patriots host the Dallas Cowboys.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel had just four carries for 18 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. Michel also caught a 12-yard pass.
Huddle Up: Michel has been pretty solid this season, but Sunday night was the third time this year he's basically done nothing: he ran for 14 yards in Week 1, 11 in Week 3 and then 18 tonight. What do those games have in common? A healthy Rex Burkhead. The veteran cuts into Michel's touches every time he plays, making the Georgia product far more volatile than backfield mate James White. That's shaping up to be a potential problem for fantasy owners during the upcoming stretch run.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (undisclosed) rushed 19 times for just 42 yards in Week 7 against the New York Jets, but he did run for three touchdowns. Michel was nicked late in the fourth quarter, leaving with an undisclosed injury. DT Folorunso Fatukasi landed on Michel awkwardly while making a tackle, and Michel walked off slowly under his own power.
Huddle Up: Michel found the end zone frequently, and that was nice even if the yardage wasn't very high per carry. We'll keep an eye on his injury. As long as he is healthy, he remains a solid RB2 or flex fantasy option in most leagues against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel carried the ball 22 times for 86 yards against the New York Giants in Week 6. Michel also had two receptions (on three targets) for 27 yards.
Huddle Up: Michel was bottled up for much of the night by a game Giants defense, but he broke a 26-yard run on one of the game's final snaps to top the century mark in total yardage. Unfortunately, Michel ceded the goal-line carry to Brandon Bolden, who scored from a yard out. While Michel hasn't been great this season, he'll be looking to extend a two-game streak of 100-plus total yards in Week 7 against the lowly Jets.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel rushed 16 times for a season-high 91 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Washington Redskins and he added three grabs for 32 yards on his three targets.
Huddle Up: Michel has found the end zone three times in the past four games. The usage in the receiving game was new, as he hadn't had a catch on just one just one target in the first four outings. He remains a decent low-end RB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 6 against the New York Giants on Thursday night.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel rushed 17 times for 63 yards in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Michel's yardage total was actually his second best of the season, but he was held out of the end zone for the first time in three games. He'll look to get back into the end zone in Week 5 at Washington. He remains a decent RB2 in most fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel could be fed some extra touches in Week 4 on Sunday, Sept. 29, as the Patriots try to get the running game going, in the opinion of one team beat reporter.
Huddle Up: Efficiency wise, Michel has struggled, averaging only 2.4 yards per carry and has been targeted only once with a catch. He's somewhat bailed out his fantasy owners with a pair of TDs, but is a flex option at best right now until we see better production.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel rushed for 11 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against the New York Jets in Week 3.
Huddle Up: Michel was not able to find a lot of running room this week but has rushed for a touchdown in back-to-back games. He will continue to receive a majority of the carries and can be a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel carried 15 times for 14 yards in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: Poor line play is usually to blame when a runner fails to average two yards per carry in a game, and such was the case in this one. It seemed as though there was always a breakdown in the backfield whenever he got his chances. Owners should chalk it up as a bit of an aberration and feel good about getting 18 to 20 productive carries and RB1 production from Michel next week against the Miami Dolphins.

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel has demonstrated improved skills as a pass receiver this preseason, Patriots running backs coach Ivan Fears said Monday, Aug. 26. 'Much much improved, much better than he was last year,' Fears said. 'Last year I thought it was a lot for him. This year, he's pretty good at it, he's going to be very good at it.'
Huddle Up: Michel was only targeted 11 times as a rookie last season, catching seven for 50 yards. If those numbers take a leap along with Michel's ample TD upside, he'll easily outplay his current low-end RB2 ADP status.
