Houston Texans OT George Fant (hip), LB Denzel Perryman (knee), DT Sheldon Rankins (elbow, shoulder) and TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday, Dec. 7. In addition, LB Neville Hewitt (hamstring) and S Jimmie Ward (shoulder) were limited and DE Will Anderson Jr. (shoulder), WR Noah Brown (knee) and OT Laremy Tunsil (knee) practiced in full.

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) was not spotted on the field at the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday, Dec. 7.
Huddle Up: There is no way to know at this point if Schultz suffered a setback during Wednesday's limited session or is getting a rest day to recover. As per usual for players in Schultz's position, Friday's injury report figures to be the best way to gauge if he will return from his one-game absence. If he can go, he has a shot at low-end TE1 value against the New York Jets. If he cannot play, Brevin Jordan would likely return TE2 value and could serve as a decent fill-in again this week.

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Huddle Up: Schultz was not able to play in the last game but seems to have a chance to play in Week 14. He will be involved in the passing game when he returns and can be a low-end No. 1 tight end when active.

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) was back at practice on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Huddle Up: The team has yet to release the official injury report yet, but even so much as a limited session is an upgrade for Schultz and puts him on track to play in Week 14. After a slow start to the season, Schultz has become a TE1 and must be in lineups.

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 1, and has been ruled out for Week 13.
Huddle Up: Brevin Jordan likely will be the top tight end for the Texans this week with Schultz sidelined but probably should be avoided in most leagues.

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 13 versus the Denver Broncos. WR Noah Brown (knee) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 1, and is listed as questionable. WR Tank Dell (calf) and DT Sheldon Rankins (elbow) were limited in practice on Friday and are also listed as questionable. LB Jake Hansen (hamstring, hand) practiced in full on Friday but is listed as questionable. OT George Fant (hip), OT Laremy Tunsil (knee), S Jimmie Ward (hamstring) and QB C.J. Stroud (thigh) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not practice for a third consecutive day on Friday, Dec. 1.
Huddle Up: Expect Schultz to be listed as doubtful or out when the team releases its final injury report in an hour or two. Brevin Jordan and Eric Saubert will likely split snaps in his absence, with the former the more likely of the two to be somewhat relevant in fantasy. There is a case to be made for streaming Jordan - an athletic pass-catcher who has done a thing or two in the NFL when given a chance - against the Denver Broncos, who have surrendered the most fantasy production in the league to the tight end positon.

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 30.
Huddle Up: Schultz has been one of the more consistent tight ends in the league since the end of September, so his absence would be a blow for Houston. Even worse for fantasy managers is that the Week 13 opponent - the Denver Broncos - ranks as the most forgiving defense against fantasy tight ends. Assuming Schultz cannot play this weekend, Brevin Jordan could make for an interesting streamer in deeper leagues.

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 29.
Huddle Up: It is not known if Schultz is in any danger of missing the Week 13 game, so fantasy players will need to check on his status later in the week. He is coming off a disappointing Week 12 game but could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in most leagues if he is able to play.
