Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb had 22 carries for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Sept. 17. He also caught one pass for nine yards.
Huddle Up: As good as Chubb was Thursday night, his numbers were almost even better as he had a touchdown overturned on replay and then failed to get the ball into the end zone on three tries from point-blank range. He's clearly the lead back and Week 1, where Kareem Hunt had more carries, was an anomaly born of being down big to Baltimore. It'll be interesting to see if Kevin Stefanski continues focusing more on the run in the coming weeks.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb rushed 10 times for 60 yards in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens while he added one reception for six yards.
Huddle Up: Chubb averaged 6.0 yards per carry, so he was productive when he was in there. However, the game turned into a blowout and the workload shifted to Kareem Hunt perhaps more than under normal circumstances. Monitor the workload in what should be a closer game in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night before punching the panic button.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb said Thursday, Sept. 3, that his top priority is helping the team win and not how many touches he gets. 'I am ready for whatever happens,' Chubb said in a Zoom media interview. 'I am ready for the team. ... We do have a lot of playmakers on the field. Hopefully we can utilize everyone the right way and make teams have to choose one or another. That will definitely help us out.'
Huddle Up: Chubb saw plenty of work last season with his 334 total touches ranking fourth overall in the league, but that was with No. 2 back Kareem Hunt playing only half a season due to suspension. Expect Chubb to carry the rushing load once again (with Hunt more involved in the passing game) and value him as a RB1 in standard-scoring leagues and a high-end RB2 in PPR formats.
