Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb rushed 15 times for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs and he added two catches for 18 yards.
Huddle Up: Chubb averaged 5.5 yards per carry, as did his backup Kareem Hunt on six rushes. The duo had 116 rushing yards and three touchdowns combined. Next up is a visit from the Houston Texans in Week 2.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension worth $36.6 million - including $20 million guaranteed - on Saturday, July 31.
Huddle Up: Kareem Hunt signed a two-year contract with the team last offseason, so Chubb's deal locks the duo into the same backfield through the end of the 2022 season. Chubb is arguably the best running back in football and appeared to get featured more as the season progressed last year. Even with Hunt's presence, Chubb is an RB1 with top-five upside if he stays healthy.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb produced a run of 20 or more yards on every 15.8 carries in 2020, which ranked as the best rate among qualified running backs.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb could be paced early on in order to attempt to get him through 24 games through the preseason, regular season and playoffs, in the opinion of beat writer Mary Kay Cabot.
Huddle Up: Expect Chubb to share the load with Kareem Hunt, but it shouldn't hinder his fantasy prowess. Chubb was 11th in fantasy points in PPR leagues despite only playing 12 games. Peg him as a midrange RB1.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb said he hopes to sign a long-term deal with the Browns and that his agent has been talking with the Browns about an extension this offseason.
Huddle Up: Chubb has rushed for at least 990 yards in each of the three seasons in the NFL and will continue to be a big part of the offense for the Browns. He should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb leads the league with 34 runs of at least 20 yards since 2018, according to Pro Football Focus.
Huddle Up: Part of the reason Chubb stands atop the leaderboard in 20-yard runs is that he also ranked first in the league in "elusiveness rating" per PFF. Even though Kareem Hunt capped his upside a bit and a knee injury cost him four games last year, Chubb still ran for more than 1,000 yards and generally operated at a low-end fantasy RB1 level at the very least. That should be the expectation again in 2021.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb led the NFL with 4.1 yards after contact per carry in 2020, and he has averaged at least 3.8 yards after contact per carry in all three of his seasons.
Huddle Up: Chubb has been the model of consistency, averaging at least 5.0 yards per carry in each of his three seasons while rushing for at least 996 yards and eight touchdowns. Even with Kareem Hunt also in the mix, Chubb is a safe bet to deliver RB1 numbers in 2021.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb is Pro Football Focus' highest-graded running back (92.9) since he entered the league in 2018.
Huddle Up: Don't be misled by Chubb's season-ending totals as he missed games (four with a knee injury) for the first time in his three pro seasons. He finished seventh among running backs (min. 8 games played) with an averaged of 17.5 fantasy points per game and that was with a career-low 16 receptions last season. He's a locked-in RB1 heading into next season.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb rushed 11 times for 28 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the New York Jets and he added five receptions for 38 yards on his five targets.
Huddle Up: The Jets keyed on the run with the Browns missing their top four receivers due to COVID, and Chubb was mostly ineffective. He'll look to bounce back in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb carried the ball 15 times for 50 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the New York Giants. Chubb also caught two passes for 16 yards.
Huddle Up: After topping 100 yards rushing in five of his first six full games, Chubb has been held below that mark in each of the last three. He's been a bit more involved as a receiver, though, and he continues to find the end zone, thus keeping him at an RB1 level entering Week 16.
