The Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in re-signing QB Mason Rudolph, who is an unrestricted free agent. Head coach Mike Tomlin and team president Art Rooney II have said that bringing him back is the team's top priority.
Huddle Up: Although Rudolph played well down the stretch, winning the final three games of the regular season to lead the team to a postseason berth, neither he nor Kenny Pickett should be viewed as a recommended option in 2024 redraft leagues. However, dynasty owners should hold on to Pickett if he is on their roster.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not interested in signing a veteran quarterback in free agency and there is some internal debate about who should start between QBs Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Huddle Up: Rudolph played well down the stretch of the season but is set to hit free agency in March, so he'll have to be re-signed first. It's hard to imagine the Steelers giving up on Pickett after two seasons, but he hasn't done much to instill confidence that he's the long-term solution. Neither signal-caller is a suggested option in re-draft leagues in 2024 but Pickett should be held in dynasty formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph was named the starter for Week 18, despite QB Kenny Pickett's health being good enough to play, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Huddle Up: Rudolph has completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 567 yards, two touchdowns and no INTs through two starts and three games. He'll be a fringe QB2 in two-QB leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph was named as the starting quarterback for Week 17 versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: Rudolph made his first start of the season in Week 16 and promptly posted the best passing performance by a Pittsburgh quarterback (290 yards) since Kenny Pickett threw for 327 yards in Week 5 of last season. Perhaps the best part of Rudolph's game is his aggressiveness; it is not a coincidence that George Pickens erupted in the same week Rudolph was under center. With that said, the Seahawks are unlikely to be as forgiving as the Cincinnati Bengals were last week, so keep Rudolph on fantasy benches in one-quarterback leagues.
