Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph, who'll be making his first start in place of QB Ben Roethlisberger (elbow) this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, has the support of No. 1 WR JuJu Smith-Schuster. 'It was unfortunate for our best player to go down ... but (Roethlisberger will) be around helping and supporting us. Mason Rudolph is going to help us win a lot of games moving forward,' Smith-Schuster said.
Huddle Up: Rudolph hasn't started a single game since being chosen with the No. 76 overall selection of the 2018 NFL Draft. He completed 12 of 19 pass attempts for 112 yards with two touchdowns and an interception after replacing Roethlisberger in last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He doesn't warrant an immediate fantasy start, but with JuJu and WR James Washington at his service in the passing game, he does have a road to relevance. Fantasy managers in two-quarterback leagues may not have a better option this week with the plethora of injuries plaguing the position around the league.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph said he doesn't think it is
QB Ben Roethlisberger's job to teach him anything but his job to
learn from him. 'That's the way I am going to look at it,'
Huddle Up: Rudolph could have a chance to replace Ben Roethlisberger
somewhere down the road, which would put him at the helm of a
powerful offense in a few years. He could be worth a speculative
stash in dynasty formats.

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph
with the 76th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Rudolph will be throwing balls to his college teammate, James
Washington, as he was nabbed with the 60th pick earlier in the
day. Rudolph will be the heir apparent once Ben Roethlisberger
hangs up his cleats. His OK State teams filled up the stat sheet
in a conference lacking big defense, so it will be interesting to
see how he adjusts to the black and blue AFC North Division.
