Free-agent WR Jauan Jennings (49ers) will likely not be an option for the Commanders as they are "going to go a different direction", in the opinion of John Keim of ESPN.com on Tuesday, March 24.
Huddle Up: Jennings still hasn't been signed yet by a team in free agency, where it was thought that he'd have a solid market for his services. With 113 and 90 targets in his last two seasons, Jennings has carved out a role as a solid, big-bodied possession receiver that is plenty relevant for fantasy as long as he keeps earning targets. Pay attention to where he lands in 2026, but it seems like his fantasy viability is lessening with each day he doesn't sign.

San Francisco 49ers impending free-agent WR Jauan Jennings is not expected to be a candidate for the franchise tag this offseason, according to NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco.
Huddle Up: Jennings will likely be one of the top receivers if he hits the free-agent market, so fantasy players should monitor his situation over the next several weeks. He has played well over the last few seasons and can be a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues depending on his situation.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings caught five of his nine touchdowns on third down during the 2025 regular season.
Huddle Up: Jennings is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason and should receive interest from multiple teams if he hits the market. He will have a good chance to start for a team next season and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues depending on his situation.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings is a free-agent-to-be, and he deferred to his agent when questioned about whether he would play under the projected franchise tag of $28 million for 2026.
Huddle Up: Jennings was limited to 55 receptions for 643 yards on 90 yards, a tick less than his 2024 production. However, he produced a career-high nine receiving touchdowns. He had 13 receiving scores in his first four NFL seasons across 60 games. Jennings could be a decent fantasy option in 2026, especially if he returns to San Francisco, where he could be one of the top receivers in the offense, especially if George Kittle isn't ready for the start of the season. But, a lot must happen between now and then, including a contract.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 15 of his 27 passes for 140 yards and an interception and rushed five times for 37 yards and lost a fumble in a 41-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round. RB Christian McCaffrey (stinger) dealt with a stinger but managed 11 carries for 35 yards and caught five passes for 39 yards, and RB Jordan James added six carries for 28 yards and caught a seven-yard pass. TE Jake Tonges (foot) caught five passes for a team-high 59 yards before exiting with a foot injury, and WR Jauan Jennings had two grabs for 23 yards. WR Ricky Pearsall and WR Kendrick Bourne were both targeted twice, but neither caught a pass, and WR Demarcus Robinson gained a yard on his only catch. LB Dee Winters tied for the team lead with nine tackles, including three tackles for loss, and LB Eric Kendricks also had nine stops. S Malik Mustapha chipped in eight tackles and a sack.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 18-of-31 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, while running nine times for 24 yards, in the NFC Wild Card game road win against the Philadelphia Eagles. RB Christian McCaffrey rushed 15 times for 48 yards, while posting six receptions for 66 yards and two touchdowns, including a 29-yard TD from WR Jauan Jennings. The latter had one reception for 45 yards on three targets and the scoring strike. WR Demarcus Robinson led the way with six receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown on seven targets, while FB Kyle Juszczyk absorbed all four targets for 49 yards, with TE Jake Tonges posted a 14-yard catch on three targets, stepping in for TE George Kittle (Achilles), who had one grab for six yards before leaving with a ruptured Achilles. LB Garret Wallow had 11 total stops with five solo tackles and a pass defensed, while LB Eric Kendricks, a former Eagle, had 10 total stops with seven solo tackles, two stops for loss and a pass break-up to seal the win.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings caught four of his six targets for a team-high 35 yards in a 13-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Jennings saw his five-game touchdown streak snapped, but he still managed to haul in eight touchdown receptions over the final nine games of the year. Jennings should remain a crucial part of the 49ers' passing attack in the postseason, and he should also be a popular target in free agency this offseason. If he lands with a receiver-needy team, Jennings could post big numbers in a high-volume role.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings ended up with two receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears.
Huddle Up: Jennings has scored at least one touchdown in five consecutive games, totaling six scores in the span. He also has eight TD receptions across the past eight games. He remains a valuable fantasy option for leagues holding their championship games in Week 18.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings had five receptions, 71 yards, and a touchdown in Week 16 against the Indianapolis Colts. Jennings, who was targeted six times, has now scored in four consecutive games.
Huddle Up: Jennings' touchdown heater continued on Monday night, scoring for the fourth game in a row (and sixth in his last seven) -- with a multi-score game mixed in, Jennings has now totaled seven TDs in his last seven games. While the yardage is nothing special, that kind of reliability in the red zone affords him clear WR3 value moving forward.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings posted three receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns on five targets in Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Jennings has scored touchdowns in each of his past three games, and he has at least one score in five of the past six outings, while totaling six touchdowns. As long as he continues to score regularly, his mediocre catch and yardage totals can be overlooked. He is a solid WR3 or flex fantasy option in all leagues heading into Week 16 in Indianapolis on Monday Night Football.
