Los Angeles Chargers LB Kenneth Murray said he was never comfortable with the defensive scheme in 2020 but feels head coach Brandon Staley's defense plays to his strengths. 'The big emphasis from him was getting me to play more downhill,' Murray said. 'That's what I'm really excited about: playing downhill, blitzing a lot more and being aggressive.'
Huddle Up: Murray finished with 107 tackles as a rookie, and it sounds like he will be put in a position to top that total in 2021. He could become a valuable IDP option sooner rather than later.

Los Angeles Chargers LB Kenneth Murray is expected to play the same position that Washington Redskins LB Thomas Davis played for the team last year, and Thomas finished 2019 with 112 total tackles, including 65 solo stops.
Huddle Up: Murray is expected to be an every-down player as a rookie, stepping into the middle of a talented defense. He has plenty of upside as an IDP option in dynasty leagues, and he could even be a sleeper option in standard leagues.
