Cleveland Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones possesses an 'obvious' skillset and has done nothing to dampen the team's enthusiasm about their sixth-round draft pick, according to passing game coordinator and wide receivers Chad O'Shea.
'We thought we were getting a solid person who has the ability to play from a mental standpoint in several positions, which will help him increase his opportunities with us. ... It jumped out at us as far as where he is physically and the potential that he has to grow even more. Just like the other guys in the program, he has come in, he has really worked hard and he has tried to do what we've asked,' O'Shea said.

Cleveland Browns rookie WR Donovan Peoples-Jones has been doing his best to learn from veteran receivers on the team, according to WR Jarvis Landry Thursday, May 21. 'From being around him the last two months, I see already that he is a hard worker,' Landry said. 'I see that he is eager to learn, and those are some of the things that I appreciate about him.' Peoples-Jones said he also met with WR Odell Beckham Jr. prior to the 2020 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Peoples-Jones will be competing with the likes of Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge and Damion Ratley for playing time and targets behind the Browns' top receiving duo. The sixth-round pick can be a late target in dynasty leagues, but there's little room for him to emerge in time to have value in redraft leagues.

Cleveland Browns sixth-round draft choice WR Donovan Peoples-Jones signed a four-year contract with the Browns Wednesday, May 20. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Peoples-Jones may have a chance to win the No. 3 receiver job with the Browns, so fantasy players should keep an eye on him during training camp. He could be a late round option in deeper leagues but probably will not have a lot of fantasy value.
