Chicago Bears WR Darnell Mooney received praise from head coach Matt Nagy in a recent interview with the Chicago Tribune following his rookie season. 'This kid is the real deal. I'm serious,' Nagy said of Mooney. 'You want to talk about an exciting player? I'm just so blown away at the things this kid does. ... It's exciting as a coach because he has a rare element of speed, combined with route-running, hands and passion. And commitment.' Nagy likened Mooney to both Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill and former Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson.
Huddle Up: Mooney was the Bears' second-leading receiver in 2020 with 631 yards and four touchdowns while catching 61 of 98 targets. He could be in line for an expanded role in 2021 if impending free-agent WR Allen Robinson is allowed to walk. He's likely to be a low-end WR2 in all fantasy formats.

Huddle Up: Mooney finished his rookie campaign with 61 catches for 631 yards, flashing some upside along the way. If the Bears are able to upgrade the quarterback position in the offseason or if Allen Robinson leaves town, Mooney could have some sleeper appeal heading into 2021 drafts.
