New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson absorbed all five of his targets for a season-high 31 receiving yards in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: While the five receptions were nice, the yardage total was still rather minimal. And, Johnson has been blanked twice in the past four games. Even as a bye-week replacement, he has rather minimal fantasy appeal as a TE2. The Buccaneers travel to meet the Saints in Week 6.

New Orleans Saints LB Willie Gay Jr. (hand), TE Taysom Hill (rib), OG Cesar Ruiz (knee), DE Payton Turner (knee), and OL Shane Lemieux (ankle) did not practice Saturday, Oct. 5, and were ruled out for Week 5. PK Blake Grupe (hip), LB Demario Davis (hamstring), RB Alvin Kamara (hip, ribs), TE Juwan Johnson (forearm), DT Bryan Bresee (ankle), RB Kendre Miller (hamstring), WR Chris Olave (hamstring), and WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ankle) fully practiced, and OT Taliese Fuaga (back, knee) was limited. They all carry no injury tag. OL Lucas Patrick (groin) did not practice, and LB Pete Werner (hamstring) was limited; both are questionable.

New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson finished with receptions for 13 yards on three targets in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Huddle Up: Johnson saw Taysom Hill leave the game early, and Foster Moreau was nowhere to be seen despite starting. Even if Hill is sidelined, Johnson doesn't see enough touches or targets to consider for fantasy purposes outside of the deepest leagues.

New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson ended up with two receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers.

New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson (foot) was activated from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Huddle Up: Expect Johnson to practice in a limited fashion for the rest of the week after missing the entirety of training camp and preseason work to this point. Johnson's ability to be a weekly starter in fantasy is not in question, but his durability to this point of his NFL career has been. Under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, Johnson should have an opportunity to push for low-end TE1 production on occasion if he can stay on the field.

New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson (foot) was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Thursday, July 18.
Huddle Up: Johnson is recovering from offseason foot surgery and may miss a good amount of training camp but is expected to be ready for Week 1. He should see a handful of targets each game and can be a No. 2 fantasy tight end.

Updating an earlier report, New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson (foot) will undergo surgery on his foot next week that will sideline him a while. The belief is he'll be ready for the season.
Huddle Up: Johnson is a ho-hum TE2/matchup play in fantasy that will share snaps with Taysom Hill moving around the field.

New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson (leg) suffered a lower-leg injury Wednesday, June 12, and is expected to miss a good chunk of time. He's not expected to miss regular-season time, though.
Huddle Up: Johnson is a mediocre TE2 option, and this compounds that. The Saints have no depth at the position, but Taysom Hill will likely steal snaps from him. Johnson remains a so-so TE2 if he doesn't miss time.
