Arizona Cardinals RB Tony Jones Jr. rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on four carries in Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Huddle Up: Jones has spent most of the last 14 or so months either getting cut, re-signed or on the practice squad of the Cardinals. All of his action in this game came on Arizona's final drive, which was highlighted by his 46-yard touchdown with less than two minutes remaining. Despite leading the team in rushing for the day, his time in Arizona figures to be short-lived yet again, as the Cardinals will likely enter next season with James Conner, Trey Benson and Emari Demercado as their top three backs.

Murphy, LB Trevor Nowaske, WR Tejhaun Palmer, CB Bobby Price, TE Bernhard Seikovits, LB Tyreke Smith, DL Ben Stille, TE Blake Whiteheart, OL Elijah Wilkinson and CB Divaad Wilson were released Tuesday, Aug. 27. The team also waived/injured TE Sage Surratt (undisclosed) and placed OL Christian Jones (ankle), RB Tony Jones Jr. (shoulder) and DE Darius Robinson (calf) on the Reserve/Injured list. Christian Jones and Robinson are designated to return later in the season.
