Miami Dolphins RBs Chase Edmonds, Myles Gaskin, Raheem Mostert, Salvon Ahmed and Sony Michel will be involved in a ''creative competition,'' according to assistant head coach/running backs coach Eric Studesville. ''You create a competitive environment and you let those guys go sort it out because that's how it's going to happen,'' Studesville said. ''They're going to sort it out as to who contributes and where and how and how much.''
Huddle Up: This is going to be a tough situation to deal with in your fantasy draft because anyone could wind up winning. On the other side of the coin, any of them could be cut. Edmonds and Gaskin are RB3s, but Mostert has shown game-breaking ability when his body isn't breaking down.

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Dec. 17.
Huddle Up: Myles Gaskin is back, too, and Ahmed could play some, but Malcolm Brown has prepared all week to be the lead guy. It would make sense for Gaskin and Brown to see the lion's share ahead of Ahmed. View Gaskin as a high-end flex, Brown a low-end flex and Ahmed somewhere behind that.

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (COVID-19) has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a source Saturday, Dec. 11.
Huddle Up: The Dolphins are on a bye in Week 14, but both Ahmed and RB Myles Gaskin, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, are in danger of missing the team's Week 15 game against the New York Jets. Phillip Lindsay currently is the Dolphins' only healthy active RB.

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed rushed for 26 yards on seven carries against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. He also caught two passes for 26 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Ahmed received a decent amount of touches this week and appears to be a solid contributor for the Dolphins on offense. He probably is not a starting option in most leagues but could be a possible flex option in point-per-reception leagues against certain opponents.

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed rushed 23 times for a career-high 122 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the New England Patriots. His grandma is in the hospital, and he reportedly told people before the game he would get a 100-yard game in her honor. The Dolphins hadn't had a 100-yard rusher in two years.
Huddle Up: Ahmed was owned in roughly a quarter of fantasy leagues heading into Week 15, and that might change in the final two weekends of the regular season. He took advantage with Myles Gaskin on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and, literally, ran with it.

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) is officially active for the Week 15 game.
Huddle Up: Ahmed probably will share playing time with Matt Breida this week against the New England Patriots. He could be a possible flex option in very deep leagues but is not a must-start option.

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 15.
Huddle Up: Ahmed appears to have a chance to play in the game, but fantasy players can check the inactive list for his status. He can have a solid role in the offense if he plays but can still be avoided in most fantasy leagues.
