Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons had his fifth-year option exercised Wednesday, April 24, and is scheduled to make $21.324 million in 2025, according to a source. The team hopes to sign him to a long-term contract at some point.

Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons has lobbied to be the team's punt returner and special teams coordinator John Fassel thinks he would be up to the task. However, the decision would not be Fassel's to make and it is unlikely that the club would risk having such an important player sustain an injury on special teams.

CB Stephon Gilmore (illness) did not practice and is listed as questionable. S Malik Hooker (ankle) and WR Jalen Tolbert (illness) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. DE Viliami Fehoko Jr. (knee) and OT Matt Waletzko (shoulder) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. LB Micah Parsons (illness) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report.

Dallas Cowboys LB Micah Parsons was good for six total stops, including two of the solo variety, with 2.5 sacks, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers. Parsons has 10 sacks across nine games this season, including four in the past two games, and at least one in four straight outings.
