San Francisco 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo (ankle, knee) was carted off in the first half of the Week 18 game against the Arizona Cardinals due to an ankle and knee injury and he was quickly ruled out. He had two rushes for five yards before departing. RB Patrick Taylor is expected to handle the lion's share of the carries down the stretch.
Huddle Up: Guerendo ends the season with 87 carries for 420 yards and four touchdowns, while also hauling in 15 receptions for 152 yards and no scores. Guerendo proved he can be a solid NFL tailback, at least in spurts. Heading into 2025, assuming this isn't a serious injury, Guerendo could have some late-round fantasy value in leagues of 12 or more teams.

Huddle Up: Taylor was unable to provide much production as the lead back, but if Isaac Guerendo is unable to return in Week 17, Taylor will likely have another shot to headline the backfield.

Huddle Up: Taylor came on late for the injured Isaac Guerendo, who left with an injury. It's uncertain if Guerendo had a serious ailment, or he simply didn't return with the game out of hand in San Francisco's favor. Taylor could be a hot target off the waiver wire in Week 15 if Guerendo joins Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason on the shelf.
