Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase officially signed a four-year contract worth a reported $161 million with $112 million guaranteed on Tuesday, March 18.
Huddle Up: Chase won the receiving Triple Crown in 2024, cementing his place as the best receiver in the NFL at the moment. The fourth-year pro holds a career average of 87.5 receiving yards per game - the second-highest rate in league history - and just turned 25 at the beginning of the month, so it is possible he is just now entering his prime. Chase will likely be (and rightfully so) the 1.01 in many fantasy drafts this spring and summer.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $161 million with $112 million guaranteed, which will make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the history of the NFL, according to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports.
Huddle Up: Chase is coming off a year when he won the receiving triple crown, and he is now locked in alongside Joe Burrow for the foreseeable future.

Cincinnati Bengals WRs Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins could be on the verge of receiving long-term contracts, as "significant progress" has been made in negotiations with both players in recent days.
Huddle Up: Chase is reportedly closing in on a long-term deal that will pay him around $40 million per season, while Higgins is said to be nearing a pact that will pay him around $28 million per season. Higgins was the team's franchise player, so there is theoretically more of a rush to get his deal done because there is a deadline (July 15) to do so. Assuming both players stay in Cincinnati, Chase will be considered the 1.01 in many fantasy drafts this summer, while Higgins should remain a strong WR2 option.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals are far apart in contract extensions talks at this point.
Huddle Up: The Bengals are looking to keep both Chase and Tee Higgins, so the contract talks may take some time. Chase will be playing for the Bengals for at least one more season and will be a must-start option in all leagues next season if he is healthy.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase will be the "highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL" once the two sides agree to a contract extension, according to director of player personnel Duke Tobin.
Huddle Up: This was largely expected, but it is a bit unusual to hear from a front-office exec before a contract has been agreed upon. The highest-paid non-quarterback in the league at the moment is former LSU teammate Justin Jefferson, who received over $88 million guaranteed as part of a four-year contract worth $140 million last year ($35 million average). Coming off a triple-crown season in 2024, it would not be a surprise if Chase does a similar deal in length to Jefferson worth nearly $150 million.

Cincinnati Bengals impending free-agent WR Ja'Marr Chase is seeking a deal worth $40 million per season.
Huddle Up: Chase was the WR1 in all of fantasy last year with a 127-1,708-17 season. With such a campaign under his belt, he has set the bar really high. Does he have the talent to repeat it? Absolutely. Is it likely? Probably not. He won't last beyond the top three WRs in drafts, though.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase said he will be looking to receive a fair contract that he has earned when the two sides discuss a contract extension this offseason.
Huddle Up: Chase has been one of the top receivers in the NFL over the last few seasons should become one of the highest paid receivers if the two sides can reach an agreement. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues when he is on the field.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase is entering the final year of his current contract, and director of player personnel Duke Tobin said signing Chase to an extension is a priority for the team this offseason.
Huddle Up: Chase led the NFL in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708) and receiving touchdowns (17) this season, so he is in line for a very big extension if the two sides can agree to a deal. He will be one of the top receivers next season and will be a must-start option in all leagues.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase led the NFL with 787 yards after the catch during the 2024 regular season. He also led the league with 75 catches that resulted in a first down and was tied for third with 11 broken tackles.
Huddle Up: Chase was one of the top receivers in the NFL this season and will continue to be a significant part of the passing game for the Bengals next season. He should be one of the first receivers selected in drafts next season and will be a must-start option in all leagues.
